  2. Yes, this is likely. Stay tuned. I should have acceptance reports every few days for this market in the Sponsor section and maps. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  3. It's true. I received word that the SW site went live. It wasn't on any acceptance report yesterday, but will probably appear tonight. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  4. 4MHz max. It is useless, really. And I'm not even sure they own it. It may have just been given to them to use during the rebanding process. AJ may be able to offer more insight. But even if they own the 900, it is so small of a holding you couldn't do anything except for one CDMA carrier. It's not worth adding a new band to devices for one measly CDMA carrier. 5. This is not accurate. The market started in the Fall. You can see real progress and maps in our Sponsor section. Do not post any more official Sprint messages on our board, they are not accurate. They are trying to under promise and over deliver. We deal with Network Vision facts, not marketing communique. 6. That post is very subjective. It will not be months until there is any LTE service in the market. In fact, there is already one live. And more will start coming live soon. AlcaLu is just about ton the threshold where they will start bringing LTE online at converted sites. It will be many months before launch, though. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  8. Not a daily limit, there is an life time limit. We don't have storage space enough to offer a lot to our members. Most members use a third party photo hosting, like imagur, photobucket, etc and just embed those photos in their posts. Even Tapatalk will give you up to 30 free photos using their app. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  9. I have this same problem, as I travel a lot in non Sprint areas for work. So I picked up a VZW hotspot to supplement my data usage when roaming. But that is not practical for everyone. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  10. Your account was upgraded immediately. Go down to the S4GRU Club section at the bottom of the forums and start exploring your new turf. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  11. I changed from weekly updates, to updating every day I get acceptance reports. I typically get an acceptance report every day from somewhere. So instead of sitting on them until the weekend, I'm now updating the maps every night before I go to bed with whatever I received for the day. I received OC, IE and San Diego reports yesterday and updated the maps of them. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  12. Yes, your conclusions are correct. You should consider becoming an S4GRU Sponsor. You would have access to much more content, including more Phoenix threads. Additional info includes maps of all Sprint sites, maps of all the Phoenix sites permitted and the best feature is the NV Sites Complete maps. We log every accepted Sprint site when it is completed on to a nationwide map. 13. I had no problems in Wichita Falls testing to go back and forth between LTE and eHRPD on legacy sites. The backhaul type in irrelevant. Each type of backhaul is provisioned like a VPN direct to the Sprint network core at an MSC. The backhaul is just a conduit, whether legacy or NV. Legacy NV backhaul is just bandwidth/throughput limited, but pointed to the same place. That being said, Sprint's network is still not mature and can have hand off problems between LTE and eHRPD. It does occur. And this may be exarcebated by dissimilar vendors. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  14. A few new sites hit the maps last night in Miami area. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  15. I have intentionally not accepted updates to my Nexus 4 because I knew this was going to happen. I'm keeping my LTE capability until they pry it from my cold dead hands! Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  16. Ah, yes...aviation. My second favorite subject beyond wireless. I love the DC-9/MD-80 series. The 2+3 seating is very convenient. However, these planes are really old and very inefficient. Time for something new. The last I heard the Bombardier C series was a 2+3 seater. Bombardier is the maker of the CRJ and is expanding into the larger 100-130 seat class narrow body jet category. 17. Permits are being pulled all over the Phoenix market. Work is starting now. We may have our first sites being accepted in the next 30 days. Since this is an AlcaLu market, they will start posting 3G upgrades first, and then LTE will start going live 3-4 months after the first 3G site is accepted. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  18. page turner Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  19. Almost never. More likely it is a colocated site with a different owner than AT&T and they both lease from them. AT&T likes to mark their territory like a dog pissing on a fire hydrant. They have signs all over the place at some of the sites in my area, even though they lease the site from companies like SBA, American Tower, Crown Castle, etc. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  20. It's not visible on my tablet. I'll try to check it out when I get in front of a computer, unless someone else comes along. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  21. I don't see any new AlcaLu base cabinets nor RRU's yet. There will likely not be new panels as this is a GMO site. It's possible, but not likely, that they took over one of the Nextel buildings on site. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  22. As far as I know, there are no GMO sites in PR/VI. None appear on our GMO maps. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  23. Two OC sites were accepted yesterday. This YL site and one in Laguna Niguel. It is not uncommon for new sites to go on and off for a few days. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  24. First two LTE sites accepted today in the Riverside/San Bernardino market. Details in the Sponsor forums: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1120-comments-related-to-nv-sites-complete-thread/page__view__findpost__p__105682 Robert
