  1. Just posted the first 25 sites accepted over in the Sponsor forums for the GA/SC Coast Market: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1120-comments-related-to-nv-sites-complete-thread/page__view__findpost__p__105682 Robert
  2. It's a mix. Mostly full build in Savannah/Charleston metro areas. Mostly GMO in rural areas and highways. Robert
  3. Three weeks is not long. There is a lot of set up, provisioning, drive testing, etc. that happens. Panel install is not the end. It's not really even the middle. You can complain after two months. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  4. And our moderator was simply responding too. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  5. The St. Croix sites are ready for 3G inspection. The St. Thomas sites were in the dispatch report yesterday, so they have either started or will be very soon. Oddly, the sole St. John site wasn't included in either batch. It may actually be a part of one or the other. Or may be last on its own. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  6. Only a fraction of sites in progress actually end up getting marked in our maps. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  7. Yes. Not every 3G cluster is live, but most of them are. There aren't any 3G NV sites live in SFO proper, yet. But there are lots of them in Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  8. I worked in Napa for three years. I flew in at least every other week. I used SFO, OAK, SJC and SMF. Once even STS (Santa Rosa) when I came from Seattle. In all of it, my favorite drive was the SFO to Downtown Napa drive through Marin and Sonoma. You can even drive through SFO up Hwy 1 through Golden Gate Park and Presidio pretty easy between 9 am - 3:30 pm on weekdays. On the weekend, it's easy too. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  9. Yes, I heard the 3G has been called for inspection already. They are working in St. Thomas too. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  10. WiMax stopped being deployed in early 2011. All 4G deployments by Sprint are now LTE only. The limited WiMax coverage in the RGV has been there a few years. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  11. We are waiting for the first Network Vision sites to be accepted as complete. None yet. The Sprint site you reference shows combinations of legacy maintenance upgrades and Network Vision upgrades. It doesn't show which is which. However, I will likely know within a day or two of the first site being accepted with NV upgrades. Since we know no NV work is complete yet, all 16 upgrades shown on the map are to the legacy system. But work continues in the RGV. Should see the first site accepted in the next 30-45 days. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  12. It was put there because of the GMO work. It is still not known when they will start full build site work. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  13. About 1/3 of the sites in the Napa Valley are live with LTE. However, almost all of them have 3G upgrades complete, and they should be live. You will find you drive from SFO will go in and out of LTE the whole way. There is more coverage going through Marin on 101 than going 80/29 through Richmond/Vallejo. 14. We have forums to discuss those other things. This is just the wrong thread for it. Thanks. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  15. These are GMO sites. Do you know what the AlcaLu base station and Ground Mount RRU's look like? You can check out an article over on the wall. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  16. Treaty Signing Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  17. Currently the only activity in the East Texas market is at GMO sites. It will be a few months before full build sites begin build out. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  18. I do not see any GMO's in the two Connecticut markets. Either it means that these markets don't have any GMO's, or the info was omitted from the source documents for these two markets. Robert
  19. An update of accepted sites in the Austin market has been posted in the Sponsor section and to Sponsor maps: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/577-network-vision-site-map-dfw-austin-and-west-texas/page__view__findpost__p__105291 Robert

  23. He owns all the frequencies? What kind of crap is that? He owns Sprint's spectrum? Not true. Maybe he is speaking of microwave, but there will be no MW backhaul or very little in this market. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  24. I don't think there is. You get the honor of starting it. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
