FedEx from Mira Loma. Delivery day is Wednesday.

Nice. Still waiting on my 6p to ship. Good that they ship via FedEx from CA so I can get it by Sat.

If the sprint playbook launch date of 26th for 6p holds true I would wager the Huawei Nexus ships next week since they listed the LG Nexus 5x launch date as 19th and google shipped it today (19th).

still waiting on mine to ship.  guess i shouldnt have ordered one of those cases together with it in the same order.  i figure that is what is holding it up.

I don't think it matters.  I ordered mine minutes after the link went live without any extra items and mine has not shipped yet.  I have seen some people who ordered the same phone configuration days after I did and they have received shipping notifications.

I ordered a white one yesterday around 1pm EDT. Order currently says 'Pending' and expected delivery says Oct. 28-30. My card has not been charged.

If you try to order a new one now, it still says leaving the warehouse by the 22nd.

Did you try signing out and in?  I viewed mine and it showed as pending as usual but then I had to sign in to play with the "Find my android" features and when i went back to check it again itshowed shipped.  So either I got lucky and caught it right when they updated it or signing in did something.

Tried it. Still says pending. Regardless of whether I sign out or not though, the page does appear to be refreshing OK for me as I can see the "ordered however long ago..." time changing. Also, for that amount, my credit card will text me as soon as there is a charge, plus I have not yet received any emails from Google about my order (not sure if I am supposed to until it goes out of pending status).

At sprint store and they are having trouble activating. Any tips for them?

Think I got it. I recalled back from Nexus 5 days the need to remove the last number of the code and then it goes through.

What I got from the updated article on the front page here is that the new "sim" cards are used to activate both LTE and CDMA now. If that's the case wouldn't adding the imei and the whitelisting process be irrelevant now? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I got my 32gb Quartz 5X this morning at 11:45am. Feels very similar to the old N5 - the back texture, the feel of the power and vol buttons, etc. The camera is a bit disappointing though - slow to launch and slow shutter speed. I'm comparing to my S6 Edge.

Still, love having a Nexus.

    • In the conference call they had two question on additional spectrum. One was the 800 spectrum. They are not certain what will happen, thus have not really put it into their plans either way (sale or no sale). The do have a reserve level. It is seen as great for new technologies which I presume is IOT or 5g slices.  They did not bite on use of their c-band or DOD.  mmWave rapidly approaching deadlines not mentioned at all. FWA brushes on this as it deals with underutilized spectrum on a sector by sector basis.  They are willing to take more money to allow FWA to be mobile (think RV or camping). Unsure if this represents a higher priority, for example, RVs in Walmart parking lots where mobile needs all the capacity. In terms of FWA capacity, their offload strategy is fiber through joint ventures where T-Mobile does the marketing, sales, and customer support while the fiber company does the network planning and installation.  50%-50% financial split not being consolidated into their books. I think discussion of other spectrum would have diluted the fiber joint venture discussion. They do have a fund which one use is to purchase new spectrum. Sale of the 800Mhz would go into this. It should be noted that they continue to buy 2.5Ghz spectrum from schools etc to replace leases. They will have a conference this fall  to update their overall strategies. Other notes from the call are 75% of the phones on the network are 5g. About 85% of their sites have n41, n25, and n71. 93% of traffic is on midband.  SA is also adding to their performance advantage, which they figure is still ahead of other carriers by two years. It took two weeks to put the auction 108 spectrum to use at their existing sites. Mention was also made that their site spacing was designed for midrange thus no gaps in n41 coverage, while competitors was designed for lowband thus toggles back and forth for n77.
    • The manual network selection sounds like it isn't always scanning NR, hence Dish not showing up. Your easiest way to force Dish is going to be forcing the phone into NR-only mode (*#*#4636#*#* menu?), since rainbow sims don't support SA on T-Mobile.
    • "The company’s unique multi-layer approach to 5G, with dedicated standalone 5G deployed nationwide across 600MHz, 1.9GHz, and 2.5GHz delivers customers a consistently strong experience, with 85% of 5G traffic on sites with all three spectrum bands deployed." Meanwhile they are very close to a construction deadline in June for 850Mhz of mmWave in most of Ohio iirc. No reported sightings.

They're completely avoiding talking about mmWave.
    • Was true in my market. Likely means a higher percentage of 5g phones in your market.
