Ha. Take my advise don't go down there to test it unarmed

Exactly what I was thinking the other day... I better bring my Mossberg next time I'm around here. If I venture out, I'll definitely be doing it before dark.

It is a good thing, because it means the market is upgraded to the new software that is used for 3G/4G hand offs. Yet a market can go back and forth from evdo to ehrpd. Phoenix is starting to new 4g on towers now, most of it. As u have read, is back haul related. Sprint would have been make to make 250 by the end of the year. If it wasnt a lost down in providers who bringing them backhaul.

I assume since I have edvo network than my area is basically out of scope?

So. I am noticing EHRDP for the first time at my house today. Near 101 and cactus. Is this a good thing :pAnd actually rocking some decent 3G speed for the first time in months. Have I been placebo'dSent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Ok. I will do some more homework. :)

Wait, were you wondering if your part of the network wasn't going to be upgraded because you don't have eHRPD? You can rest assured that it will be upgraded. EVDO vs eHRPD doesn't mean a whole lot.

Do you have an LTE capable device?

No I dont have a lte yet. I have a HTC with 4g but with the other older type. My network is edvo rev a. When I was at the 19th ave and camelback spot my network was blinking back and forth with older types (rev 0 and 1xrtt).

Well there's the issue right there. Only LTE devices can see eHRPD, because only LTE devices need eHRPD. If you don't have an LTE device, you won't see it.

So where do you find that engineering screen? I'm running cm10.2 and can't find it anywhere.

CM took the engineering screens out of their ROM's.
