WealthyHabitz
Don't most major updates happen on Friday anyway?Yes and no.. They happen pretty much anytime. Sprint S4 KitKat update was on Wednesday Feb 13th. I remember my uncle asking me why that popped up on his phone. The AT&T LG G2 was on a Sunday I believe. Sprint HTC One 4.3 update was on a Wednesday as well 10/2/2013. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
VW Maverick
Was browsing the Sprints website LG G2 forum and one guy posted the update is coming March 3. Don't know how reliable that info is just wanted to pass it along. Only if you are in France: http://www.gsmarena.com/carrier_sfr_reveals_kitkat_update_plans_for_lg_g2_xperia_phones-news-7939.php We should be getting it sometime in March though. Mav. Sent from my LG G2 on the Now Network Haven't the other 2 updates (ZV8 and ZVA) been within the first week of the month? Atleast, the first few people got it then. Vince
Since this is my first android, when a new operating system becomes available, does it upgrade your phone, or wipe it completely clean? Will I lose everything when upgrading?

Maverick
Looks like tmobiles G2 is pushing out KitKat Via LG Mobile Software Tool. ( See link ) This can only mean Sprints Kit Kat update is not too far since it's common knowledge verizon takes forever to push out updates...... I've tried to use that software but it doesn't recognize the device and the drop down menu doesn't include Sprints model to update drivers. There's seems to be no software from LG for Sprints G2 model. I miss that since I used Samsung kias to updated my previous S2 device and it worked wonders. http://imgur.com/50RrtGX

The links given are from the LG server to download the .kdz firmware files. You need to use the LG's Software Flash Tool to flash the firmware. The firmware is still not yet available for OTA update for Tmobile customers but rather prepping the servers to host the OTA update.

I am just saying it is NOT the LG Support tool that is pushing out the update. It is just someone who found the link to the LG servers for the Tmobile version. You still have to use the LG Flash tool to flash the firmware update. I just forgot which phone it was for. Shocked the heck out of me that it was an OTA update too. Been generally speaking, yeah Verizon is a lot like that old at&t commercial where that one person always received the funny message after everyone else is already done laughing at it.... ghostkilla1388
The zva update was a Monday so I'm kinda hoping it is on Monday but who know when Sprint is going to release it for us. Sent from my LG G2 on the Now Network
Maverick
Sprint S4 just got the update too. This is a good sign for us, I think. Sprint has been good so far on pushing the update on Kit Kat: HTC One, Samsung Note 3, S4 before the other carriers. The G2 should becoming around the corner I'm really surprised AT&T along with tmobile has release theirs ahead of time. In any case really looking forward to it. I've read from other G2 owners it actually made it a faster smoother performance than it already is, lol . Overall they really liked it and now having 4k video recording is a bonus and the Knock on feature has improved. Plus other enhancements.....

Maverick
Just got a random prl update 55018 now, anyone heard anything about it? Sent from my LG G2 on the Now Network That's a new one, I currently have 55017 so I'll push a manual PRL and see what happens. Unfortunately I'll need to reset the priority bands again since it'll default them back to Priority 1 all across vs having now at band 41 - 1, 26 - 2, 25 -
Terrell352
Thats not true. I updated mine manually and mine is still set to 26,41,25. I don't know about yours since I'm not there to see it however it has done it in the past every time I force push a prl/profile update. priority 1 for band 41, 2 for band 26 and 3 for band 25 all get defaulted to priority 1 which changes the radio bands of that order.
