What sprinr PRLs will rock Davis LTE?

any that supports LTE should work, since they already NV launched Davis. That said, there is only 1 tower activated (near Target) and there are issues with that tower right now AFAIK

Data issues all day in Davis.  Could barely connect for most of the day in east Davis and now connected to EvDo rev. A instead of eHRPD on campus.  Sensorly speed test got 0.00 Mbps down/up

South Reno seems to be having data issues/throttling like da_kiem and other users.  No matter the signal strength I'm stuck at a very consistent 2 Mbps up and down.  Seems like work is being done somewhere.

Sounds like work on the LTE Core......

Definitely not throttling.  Sprint only throttles video streaming traffic for people with My Way and Framily plans to 1Mbps, and only when the network is overburdened.  Sprint does not throttle traffic otherwise.  Reduced LTE speeds otherwise most likely are from increased airlink traffic, work on sites or the LTE core or a temporary backhaul problem.  But Band 25 is starting to slow down on busier sites.

Reno and Carson City will start getting additional LTE carriers in Band 26 soon.  This band will have faster speeds (because of less traffic) and the signal will travel farther and penetrate buildings better.  Unfortunately, the iPhone 5 doesn't support B26.  Only the iPhone 5s/5c and Android Triband devices support B26.  The Truckee Meadows will also start getting B41 sites probably next year, which will have much faster speeds.  But currently no iPhone supports B26.  Only Android Triband devices do.  But it is largely believed the iPhone 6 will be Triband.

Thanks Robert.  Much appreciated.

There's gonna be a fume hood shutdown so they can work on the cell tower at UCD again, but only for 2 hours.  Any idea what they could be doing in that short of time?  Too late in the day for them to be craning anything off the roof.

Integration of fiber Aav to network vision equipment?

Ok so I've received a job with the USPS and now with this discount, I'm not leaving my beloved sprint behind for this next contract ending in April. From my understanding, theres SOME spark coverage in the south sac area which is in the 2600 spectrum, is this only in LTE mode or does it coexist fine with 1x? Also are the details of a site being tested or live on the Sponsors side? And i'm assuming since not many people have a Sprint Spark compatible phone that the few sites that are up are not burdened at all.

:edit: Also is anyone here selling a Nexus 5/LG G2? Or can point me in the right direction?

You will only be able to access it with LTE only mode (or a hotspot device) since it hasn't been cluster-launched for NV 3G yet.  All the TDD-LTE info is only in the premier sponsor area AFAIK.  I've been itching to go down there and get some speed tests to show off to my coworkers but have been too lazy :X

What is the LTE core? Why does it need to be upgraded? Aren't these towers pretty much state of the art already since they were just installed? (tried searching for an article about this but didn't find any)

The LTE core is upgraded. But sometimes problems occur even on new networks. Sometimes a problem happens at a core when integrating a cluster of sites. A problem can happen at any location on the network. Even new equipment.

Starting to see some LTE action in Orangevale (off Kenneth between Oak/Central) with regularity. Able to get 2.01 Mbps down and .58 up according to Sensorly but not for very long and I can't get a screen shot of the Sensorly app.

Yeah, I wouldn't get too excited. Maybe it's a safer bet that the Kings will make it to the playoffs before we see consistent (ie usable) LTE. My phone flashed LTE for very short periods, sometimes I'm able to run a sensorly test, usually I fumble too much. It shows most when I wake my phone. It's been shy the last couple days, or more likely I've not been paying attention.

have you tried swappa.com for a phone?  Worked well for me in the past.

I just checked it out and i'm seeing some decent phones on there, i'm gonna go visit the sprint store right now and see what they can do to help me. Crunching numbers and all I want the most bang for my buck while putting money aside for a Volt.
