Report Your LTE Connection Here

Where in Jacksonville did you get those speeds?

Over on Baymeadows. There is also some LTE out in Orange Park. Get the app on your phone called Sensorly and you can see the LTE coverage reported by other users. This is how I found out Baymeadows Road had some so I went out there to test it out.

Haha! I mapped it the day it came live. Just so happens I was coming back from the dentist appointment. Now my little spec of lte coverage on sensorly has increased 10x!

Thanks for mapping more. <img src='http://s4gru.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> That tower has a lot of range, too.

This is the speed test I got when I was there.

I got 17 down 9 up Nashville on my galaxy s3

What part of Nashville were you in? I am in Lebanon and LTE worked for a couple of weeks but now it is gone. I assume they finished testing and turned it off until official launch. I know there is new coverage in the Spring Hill, Franklin and Smyrna/LaVergne areas over the last couple of weeks.

Got LTE from my apartment for the first time yesterday, live off the corner of I-395 & Seminary rd. in Alexandria, VA 22311 (Southern towers apartments) did a bunch of speed tests , when I got close to my apartment window I got 18mb/s down and 4mb/s up. Checked when I woke up this morning and 4G was still lit on my GS3.

4g LTE lit up on my Galaxy Note 2 this past weekend in Logan Circle (NW DC). First time I've seen it lite up. Then went to the Redskins game yesterday in Landover,MD and 4g was up and running.

I found that interesting because I went to the monday night game as well and there was no 4g... so the rollout is starting to happen. Yay.

I am Hung Bui and work for Sprint network development. I do not work on the sprint deployment so I do not know the deployment schedule. I was at Thomas Jefferson High School (TJ) in Alexandria VA last Friday evening (12/7/2012), and my phone receives Sprint LTE service there.

TJ is on Braddock Rd near the Braddock/Route 236 (Little River Turn Pike) intersection:

This coincides with another report from another member that he/she spot LTE service near 395 in Alexandria.

This is off a pre-launch tower in my neighborhood. Unfortunately it is beam directed and is not covering my house just 3 blocks away (3 very short blocks)... But at least it is in my area, just like WiMAX is... just not at my house.

I should also disclose that I did not take a screenshot at the time I was in 4G LTE area, I did it after I got home with intent to post here, so thats why it shows a WiFi signal in the status bar, but the test was clearly LTE.

https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&safe=off&q=37.75453+-122.40455&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&bpcl=39650382&biw=1366&bih=600&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl That is the location this was taken. So you can see round about where LTE is active.

Just now I got 4g signal in Gaithersburg, MD where I work. I didn't see any noticed that it was officially switched on. I'm reading these signals in a building so take them with a grain of salt. I also ran a couple of speed tests which were hit or miss.

Signal info:

Strength: -90dBm 4 asu

Network Type: LTE:14

PRL: 25010

Speed Tests:

1) 8.98 Mbps down, 0.25Mbps Up, 72ms ping

2) 4.05 Mbps down, 0.21 Mbps up, 75ms ping

3)7.14 Mbps down, 3.94 Mbps up, 89ms ping

For the most part, when new towers get deployed Sprint has been leaving LTE on and not blocking like they did in the original launch markets. This just means that particular tower now has NV equipment active, not that they've officially launched the market.

Sensorly shows lots of LTE all over the Twin Cities but not near my own location so much:

http://www.sensorly.com/map/4G/US/USA/Sprint/lte_310sprint

I've gone to certain areas where it purports to be and found that despite toggling airplane mode and back on again it was still stuck in 3G purgatory - this was not the case 3 weeks ago when the original batch of LTE sites went up.

I suspect some of what occurred was the storm a few days ago that dropped a foot or more of snow on the city delayed some of the workers.

But I spotted a couple of guys on a lift the day after the storm right near the MSP airport (likely the source of the brief LTE signal spotted there):

Another view:

They were fighting loss of daylight and it looked like the lower antenna array was only partially assembled.

what does it mean when u get LTE briefly and then it goes away for the record I have the EVO, but I dont know if that means that they are doing testing with my local tower or what, but it never stays on long enough for me to get a speedtest, also Robert hasnt officially changed/updated the tower to reflect any changes either
