I drove by Henderson yesterday afternoon and couldn't find any LTE, so don't feel too bad. :(

Enjoy it when you get back as I won't be visiting the area for probably a long time to scoop anything on the sites out from under the locals. Had a good time, marked it off the bucket list, but just not my cup of tea for repeat vacation locations.

Well the important thing is that you had fun. Hopefully you also supported the local economy vigorously and left lots of loot here. :D

Not really... we kinda did the extreme couponer thing there as my wife is pretty good at it. We didn't gamble too much since she hit a decent little slot jackpot on Fremont the first day. I really enjoyed the trip to Hoover and various places out in the middle of no where around Lake Mead. Now that's my kind of thing. Being from Louisiana, my idea of an awesome repeat vacation involves mud, fishing, guns, four wheelers, beer, and fire in the middle of no where. But I like I said I still had a great time.

Actually I got and mapped out on sensory some 4G action, Tropicana and Ft. Apache. I noticed it while I was at Panera Bread. I decided to use sensory to see how far I could go east (on my way home) along Tropicana this morning. Looks like it stops at Buffalo.

Speed test showed the following while I was in the parking lot at Panera Bread on Fort Apache:

Just wanted to share my discovery this morning! Another interesting note is the time it took me to get from Fort Apache to home, sensolry took my battery down 10% haha.

Yeah it'll do that, since it keeps your screen on, searches for GPS constantly, and uses your data connection all at the same time. That's why I only run Sensorly when I have my phone on the charger!

Good find though! Glad to see Las Vegas finally starting to fill in a bit.

I was in the vicinity so I went by the Boulder Hwy./Gibson site and did a little mapping with Sensorly. :tu:

Can you add that serving cell to the spreadsheet with corresponding site ID? I would but I'm in a meeting until later.

    • Was in Red Hook again and I swear there are more Link5G sites as there are Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T small cells combined in the entire neighborhood. It seemed like every other street I turned down had one installed. Hopefully carriers will start hopping on them soon. Seems like a lot of effort to go through for no one to use them.  — — — — — T-Mobile converted the Sprint site on top of NYU Langone Brooklyn in Sunset Park. I first mapped one sector of it back in November 2023 but I thought it was a small cell so I never pinned it but I ran into another sector today which caught me off guard. I'm unable to find a permit for the conversion so it's definitely a surprise. There's another T-Mobile site 1 block away that T-Mobile initially installed back in 2019 so I'm kinda surprised they're keeping both considering the Sprint conversion is on a much taller building and coule potentially provide much better coverage to the entire area.
    • Still not seeing any ULS postings for pending T-Mobile UScellular merger in Dane county Wisconsin.
    • Came across another Crown Castle Solutions multi-tenant oDAS node in Brooklyn. Located at 40.7002286, -73.9612666. Nothing on T-Mobile or AT&T so I'm assuming these are all Verizon nodes that Crown Castle is anticipating another carrier will hop on down the line.
