    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Nope I think only HTC ONE to HTC ONE, EVO to EVO and HTC ONE to HTC EVO calls will use hd voice.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

You sure data is the same on your end? You might want to test that theory like I just did
  3. Not at $300. If it went down to say $100 then I would consider it. This is a test watch anyway. The next one will be much better.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

If I can get even the faintest lte signal in my home it will confirm that LTE was improved although at my job I get great LTE outside but inside I get terrible everything. Now im getting LTE that actually hangs in there for a good 5-10 instead of 1 min before going back to ehrpd. 3G signal strength seem to be the most improved by far while voice doesn't seem to have changed at all. The fact that my 3G signal strength is now consistently better than my voice signal in proof enough to me. Now I should be able to hold out for the G2 without me pulling my hair out because of the craptastic radio in the EVO LTE. Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5 would really make me shut up tho but I doubt I will see that before the launch of the G2.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Agreed LTE got better and 3g signal increased by alot. In a doctors today for my son and the update showed up there. 3g inside is normally 113-118dbm often going to 1x I went outside since I get a 108dbm LTE signal and did the update which took about 8 mins to download. I went back in and while LTE still could penetrate 3g was a consistent 98-105dbm and I couldn't believe it. LTE has also improved but only by maybe 2-4dbm at best.
  6. Nice. Easy sell since Puerto Rico is 99% complete
  7. Tampa seems to be the best built out network in florida it was nothing short of fantastic when I went there a few weeks ago.
  8. Well to answer that question nice program but it wouldn't work for me. Not complaining about coverage I was stating facts. Complaining on this thread achieves nothing for me. However on a differnt note complaining to sprint and having proof of my claims did get me $110 off of my bill this month brining my total to 58 . Customer service is good.
  9. Yep Verizon has there area covered. In a data reliability competetion though sprint would be last of the big 4. From what I have seen metro pcs even has more reliable LTE and more coverage than sprint in the area.
  10. Ok I get you. It is true in my tests that att call quality and reach for some reason is not up to par with sprints call quality and reach. Sprints call quality and coverage is actually pretty good in Ocala. I was referring to data coverage, penetration and speeds that's where for now sprint doesn't stand a chance but they will in say a year from today.
  11. Sprints LTE has improved but for some reason they have 4 of the most crucial tower that have yet to be upgraded. One of them is definitely a backhaul issue because it has the 3g upgrade but not LTE. The others are legacy and of course the towers on the outskirts of the city have plenty of LTE coverage. I will say the east side of Ocala is the most covered by far. They only have 8 towers left in the whole city to update. 1 tower far west, 3 SW city, 1 silver springs shores, 1 ne Ocala, and 1 directly in the middle of the downtown square
  12. What kind of phones do they have because att has better coverage in Ocala than sprint just not by much but coverage is only half of the problem. Data speeds on att here vs sprint is no contest even at&ts hspa+ is often the same not better than sprints LTE and sprints 3g data speeds here is nothing short of unusable if you live directly in the city. Particularly on the SW side where the college, bestbuy, the mall, a lot of resturants, publix, plenty of banks, the busiest Walmart in the city and sprints only corporate store is. Next time you come test downtown and the SW part of Ocala and you will see what I'm talking about.
  13. Unfortunately I can't. I'm not trying to bash Sprint or anything but I would probably lose a friend if I tried to recommend coming to Sprint in its current condition in my city. Most of my friends have Att and Verizon so for them coming to Sprint would be back tracking as the duopoly as much as I don't like them have basically completed their LTE rollout in not only my city but the majority of Florida while Sprint lags way behind. Most people want great service yesterday and are not willing to wait until Sprint is finished rolling out when they can have great service on one of the big 2 now.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Thats nice and all but not everyone is a fan of rooting or want to void there warranties by doing so.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

So according to the same guy that told us that the EVO 4G LTE was going to get android 4.2.2 and sense 5.0 is saying that it was going to get the update but it looks like they cancelled it the same way they cancelled it for the HTC ONE S. This does not make sense to me because the EVO is technically better in terms of specs than the HTC ONE X and the X got the update in some countries. We got android 4.1.1 in December almost a year ago so if HTC comes out and says that the EVO will not be updated they are going to lose alot of customers including myself. I have been very loyal to HTC in the past, in fact I have only had phones from them and one from Samsung. http://www.gottabemobile.com/2013/10/01/htc-evo-4g-lte-users-get-grim-update-news/
  16. I don't know where you figure you can get a 115dbm signal on 1x but on my EVO LTE and my girlfriend's GS3 Sprint's 1x band is completely gone at 105 dBm. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but on 1x goes to 105dbm, evdo is around 118 dBm and LTE is about 125 dBm
  17. No taunting is when the coverage map lies and basically says the whole city is covered when its not. Take Sprints coverage map for LTE with a BAG OF SALT! When they launch Orlando I can almost guarantee the same thing is going to happen there where the whole city is supposedly covered when they know only half of the city is covered.
  18. Prepare yourself for shock and awe my friend. I thought the same thing but you natrually rest your index finger there on any phone it just took that phone to help me notice that I did that. Landscape mode is not as full proof though but I'm not going to nit pick on a phone this nice. Also the white one does a great job of hiding fingerprints as this phone is a super fingerprint magnet.
  19. I did some heavy research on the LG G2 and that thing is a monster in every way, shape and form. Reports of it charging from 0-30% in 20 mins thanks to the quick charge 2.0 in the 800 processor. Fantastic battery life with 12-14 hours of battery life of heavy usage. Low light camera that some how bests even the htc one. Great video camera. More detail and colors in pics than the iphone 5s. It has a extremely bright screen and destroys every benchmark. Music sounds fantastic through the bottom speakers and through headphones. There is no lag what so ever and it will be triband on Sprint. This is the first time I have ever actually wanted a LG device and there is a 70% chance this will be my next phone. The HTC ONE MAX, and Nexus 5 are the only two phones making me hold off.
  20. I use on average even taking advantage of WiFi 5 gigs on LTE data on Sprint and 800 kbps on 3G due to it being unusable 60% of the time. Now I will tell you use alot of Sprint data then you getting a LTE device now may have been a mistake and you should have waited for triband. I have been in places where Verizon LTE penetrates buildings at 100 dbm while a Sprint phone wont penetrate or just barely does with basically unusable LTE even though the Sprint tower is miles closer than the Verizon tower.
  21. The next earnings call is only about 3-4 weeks away. I'm bored too and I really want to know the status of the G2, HTC ONE MAX, NEW NEXUS, NEW IPADS, 800 LTE and 800 CDMA deployment on a mass scale and 2600 being added to NV towers.
  22. Capital One dropped out of the ISIS program, now they only have chase and american express which may also drop out. Capital One basically said they have enough data that customers don't use it much so they opted out. I hope this happens because then the other carriers would be forced to let people use google wallet. If it doesn't work out Verizon, Tmobile and At&t could just try to kill mobile payments all together and try again 10 years in the future. People don't seem to like change.
