Teaser: iPhone gets two new models but no LTE band *trifecta* on Sprint
Terrell352 commented on WiWavelength's blog entry in The Wall
I like HTC but this is the reason I will not buy another HTC product. HTC value drops so fast in the first year its ridiculous. High demand=high long term value I suppose. -

Teaser: iPhone gets two new models but no LTE band *trifecta* on Sprint
Terrell352 commented on WiWavelength's blog entry in The Wall
Yeah I don't think band 41 is a big deal for at least anyone not in a clearwire wimax zone because we likely wont see td lte until Sprint puts it into there network vision rollout next year. Im surprised its dual band because I thought there was not going to be any dual band LTE on Sprint. -
Florida is getting a high level of rainfall this year.

http://technobuffalo.com/2013/09/06/nexus-5-renders/ renders are up! Not official but looks sum what it would look like
-
The galaxy S4 has to have a bigger battery because of all the features it has that sucks the life out of the battery also this device has a snapdragon 800 which is even more efficient at saving power than the 600 in the S4. Since it a pure nexus device I would expect the battery life to be better than the S4 since the HTC One has a 2300 mah and the S4 has a 2600 and in most cases the HTC ONE always last longer because there is minimum bloat.

I will tell you why no contract for a nexus is so important. Its because for me two reasons. 1. It will get updates straight from google and will not be a repeat of the nexus s or galaxy nexus because Sprint won't sell it directly but it would be compatible with the bands on their network. 2. If you get the nexus off contract then you still have a upgrade available when Sprint releases next year's phones and hey if Sprint does not move fast enough in your neck of the woods with network vision you could leave and take that same nexus 5 to T-mobile or At&t without having to worry about a termination fee. Anymore questions?
-
Hope so would be a dream come true to see this on sprint no contract on the google play store
-
Imagine a no contract, triband, nexus device with a kitkat bar on the side. I'm dreaming deep tonight when I hit the sheets:-D
-
Lol I may not care anymore if this nexus 5 that they think just went thru the fcc comes out. Seems to have att, tmobile and sprint LTE bands in tow. If its off contract I would be in heaven and would sell my EVO LTE faster than Mike Tyson can spend $300 million dollars. Lord give me a sign that this is true!
-
I would pick this over the galaxy note 3 if this is actually coming to sprint. Fingers crossed
-
Well tmobile att and Verizon all have it without customer loyalty. I mean everyone should be able to get a year upgrade on sprint I'd need be even if its a considered a rip off on Verizon and att.
-
What harm would it bring sprint to bring back silver and gold one year upgrades? Probably none because they have play money now but I don't think they want to. I would think it would be a good thing at least for me as I would be much more likely to upgrade every year rather than two if I could.
-
Its all fiction to me until proven fact. Guess we just have to wait and see
-
Didn't sprint only confirm 2 devices coming this year. One from LG and one from Samsung? Since we know those two devices I don't think the note 2 or any other phone was promised triband
-
Found on Engadget today they believe its the galaxy S4 mini. Triband in tow https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=419483&fcc_id=A3LSPHL520 CPU MSM8930(Snapdragon 400) Screen Size 540x960(qHD OS Version 4.2.2 Back cam 8MP Front cam 1.9MP Total Device Memory 1.5GB RAM Total Device Flash 8GB ROM External Memory Max Size 64GB SDXC Bands 25, 26, 41 Seems to be a mid range phone. Not looking good for the Note 3 to be triband

Bande à part: LG G2 is the first announced Sprint tri band LTE handset
Terrell352 commented on WiWavelength's blog entry in The Wall
Its probably something that will be solved next year with the new batch of LTE handsets. At least on the SVLTE side. -
Back to legacy after NV upgrade?
Terrell352 replied to mrknowitall526's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Ah ok I was just asking because most of the time in my area when 3g/4g site just came on and is live there normally aren't any problems. I was just wondering how long does it take to correct towers with problems such as downtilt or bad placement of panels -
Back to legacy after NV upgrade?
Terrell352 replied to mrknowitall526's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
What about my case? They accepted a site two days ago 3G only when I know for a fact that it is broadcasting LTE also but it seems that the downtilt, panel and ruu placement or something is way off. I have to go to a particular spot to get LTE from that tower and it only goes for about 2/10th's of a mile. I am assuming that's why LTE was not accepted?
