  1. Band 25 not performing well doesn't sit well with me at all. Hopefully its some kind of software issue. If it can't perform at least as well as the galaxy s3 then I'm waiting for next years phones.
  2. This would be amazing as I have a tmobile micro sim.
  3. sprint actually does have full bars where my kid plays at and its still unusable so don't feel bad lol Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  4. Belkin 1800 ac router and HP windows 8 laptops must be a bad combination Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah but the majority of laptops even the most expensive do not have the 5ghz frequency built in. N is not that impressive on the 2.4 band at all. My router is in the living room and I can barely connect outside but on the 5ghz band I can. WiFi AC signal can go even further than WiFi on the N 5ghz frequency so that would be very useful to me Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  6. I played the g2 today and fell in love. I had to push my EVO LTE aside lol. Att version.
  7. LTE Most of this is correct accept there will be in 800mhz 3g only 800 1x and 800 LTE
  8. Might have just answered my own question lol http://www.anadigics.com/news/press_releases/lg_electronics_g2_powered_anadigics_80211ac_wifi_feic
  9. Interesting. Did the Sprint version ever pass through the FCC? I want to see the performance
  10. connect and usable? I have connected in doors with my gs3 plenty of times but alot of the times its unusable often performing like sprints 3g but once I go outside all of a sudden I'm pulling down 8-12 mbps Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  11. Not me. The only site I have next to me is a wimax protection site in this city. I know better than to think that I will see band 41 here anytime sooner than 2 to 3 quarter next year so I would prefer to have Wifi Ac in the mean time.
  12. Name a laptop that supports wifi ac or 5ghz frequencies for that matter. My phone is faster than my laptop 99% of the time because where I live the homes are very close together and every and there momma is on the 2.4ghz frequency. Not only do I get more range from my 5ghz band on my phone but the speeds are way better and more consistent. Wifi AC not only increases the speed even more but increases the range by alot. It might not be useful to some people to to me it is.
  13. I am I have a AC router and I would like my phone to support it
  14. Does not sound like a bad idea at all. I already sprung for the G2. They did some downtilt adjustments to a near by tower and now I get a weak LTE signal on my girlfriend's GS3 but my Evo still won't connect. I will say that at least in Ocala I have LTE 50% of the time around the whole city. Indoor penetration seems to be a issue if your not within a 2 miles of the tower.
  15. Okay everybody after doing lots of testing I can confirm that the EVO is a weak LTE performer but not as bad as everyone thinks. If you put it in LTE only mode and leave it alone for a while it will pick up LTE in spot where normally it never would. Its not as usable as on the GS3 though which also confirms that HTC has 3G set as a higher priority than LTE on the EVO. If I have bad 3G coverage and LTE coverage then LTE seems to hold on longer but if I'm close to a 3g only tower and the LTE signal is around 118 dBm or so it won't connect. I tried it in a lot of places and it seems to work every time.
  16. we will have to wait and see Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  17. I pre ordered my G2 from Best Buy online and it gave me the option of keeping my existing plan or moving to the my way plans and I chose my existing plan with no problems.
  18. Can anyone tell me if this looks like network vision? It is a sprint tower and there was a white pick up truck that came here and left the gate open all night. I assume they will be back in the morning. They even left porapoties lol.https://www.dropbox....5n1z/FHlvwcplEi https://www.dropbox....ulls/Np2d_O3gHn https://www.dropbox....hjcu/_MeEJi-O7z https://www.dropbox....ovn5/snL3WqMlLT
  19. You don't understand my question. Read carefully. A Sprint and Clearwire site is on the same tower. This tower right now is a Wimax protection site that is likely to get a TD LTE upgrade because of the deal sprint made to take down the old equipment. There is another part of the tower where Sprint has already done a LTE upgrade. Since clearwire sites will likely be upgraded to TD LTE sites and Sprint sites will also get LTE sites this means that technically there will be 2 clearwire parts each on a 20 mhz frequency. My question was will sprint upgrade both with the 2 separate 20mhz frequencies or will Sprint only upgrade the protection site part of the tower and only put 800 and 1900 LTE on the sprint part of the tower since the protection site is already broadcasting TD LTE on 20mhz?
  20. My question is why would you have gotten the note 3? You must have not known that it was not triband. Its not to late to take it back and if I was you I would. Your 1900mhz LTE Note 3 won't stand a chance to any Verizon or At&t device when it comes to coverage and building penetration.
