  1. Does anyone know the theoretical max on the uplink of 1900 LTE ?
  2. I would say this as a fellow EVO LTE owner to get your hands on a galaxy note 2 and test how good LTE is in your area. If it is good enough for you then I would get the note 3. Yes sprints 1900 LTE is likely to slow down and building penetration is hit or miss depending on the downtilt and interference. 800mhz will not suffer the same limitations.
  3. P.S. If you can not grant me a triband Galaxy Note 3 then grant us the almighty powers of the Nexus 5 in unlocked form with triband capabilities. I humbly ask you to consider my request oh powerful frequency fairy. I think I speak for all of us in saying you would be doing us a great service.
  4. Dear frequency fairy. It's me again. I know your probably tired of me asking and I hope it is within your power to help a poor lost cellular soul realize a world where sprint is on top and has a nationwide triband network that includes the note 3 in its triband line up of phones. If you make this happen I will forever be grateful, well at least for 2 years. Amen
  5. Its not 100% safe to say until it is released but I would say its 99% safe to say with a 1% miracle.
  6. I would proabably keep the nexus 5 and the gs5 until the next nexus comes out that way if the gs5 is slow on updates you will still have the nexus 5
  7. I want to hop on the of g2 bandwagon but is seems so far away from being released. Probably exactly a month from the upcoming Friday. Sucks that the other carriers beat sprint to the punch.
  8. U would not believe how many times a day I look at sensitive info on WiFi at home and can't on the go because of sprints network right now but besides that my EVO LTE is feeling old and I'm quite bored with it after almost 17 months of having it. It has nothing to set it apart from the rest besides a kickstand and hd voice capablities that I have never seen the light of day.
  9. Sprint LTE is way to fragile indoors and I can't the times that I go into a doctors office, grocery store such as Walmart or even in the car trying to stream music and it doesn't work. Walmart for some unknown reason does not have WiFi and also I would not trust public WiFi as its to easy for someone who knows what they are doing to hack as opposed to a cellular network that is 10 times more secure
  10. They won't tell you the number of pops because there coverage map is well exaggerated and they probably won't know how many pops they cover until network vision is more complete
  11. I'm Tampa and I have to say its not fair how much LTE they have over here I tell you. Even on my EVO LTE the LTE signal won't drop
  12. A great device if you have the money for it to check the competitions LTE coverage vs sprints would definitely be the nexus 7 LTE I want one but can't afford it at this very moment
  13. I use the EVO LTE and the GS3 and normally the GS3 had would hold a LTE signal for a mile longer than sprint but building penetration it was only a tad bit better and loved to hold on to almost unusable LTE signals. I will try att with my sisters galaxy note 2 soon. On her note 2 she averaged 9down and 2up last time I checked and she is in a rural area. Sprint has 1 bar of LTE on my EVO of course since the EVO sucks at rf. On LTE she gets 15-35 on average and 8-10 up inside at that. My phone didn't stand a chance with 2-3 bars of 3g and no LTE indoors but I want to check att coverage first hand compared to sprint. I will be in Tampa tomorrow though and I hear they have more LTE coverage than any other Florida market
  14. i dont like using bluetooth unless its for streaming music in my car. Just another thing I have to buy and charge. I finally played with this thing earlier today and I don't like how slippery it is and how big it is. Its like me having a nexus 7 for a phone. Some people may like this phone but its not for me. Good to see options though
  15. I gotta tell you guys I just went on a 2 hour trip in my city with a sprint and Verizon phones I had the gs3 and the EVO LTE and my friend had the rezound and the LG ally on Verizon and the difference between networks I would have never guessed how severely Verizon smokes sprint in coverage around here. Verizon never lost LTE even in some of the most rural areas and sprint was roaming on both phones. 4g LTE is spotty and really suffers indoors if your not close to a tower. 3g is worse. Pandora went non stop for 3g even when in rural coverage for Verizon and sprint would not play at all even on the lowest stream setting. Verizon was on the highest streaming setting the whole trip on 3g and never once buffered. The reason we did this is because he is on verzion unlimited and he broke his phone so he needs a new one but he doesn't want to lose unlimited so I told him to switch to sprint but at his house he was roaming on sprint and Verizon had 3-4 bars of service. My tmobile hotspot was on edge so the only carrier to test is att. I was just shocked at how much coverage and reliablity sprint doesn't have in my city compared to the competition. I can't wait to test the 800 smr spectrum when they finish there network nationwide and see the improvements first hand. That will be like Christmas to me.
  16. i have enormous hands and i would not buy this phone because while it might fit in my hands the fact that its bigger than the note 3 and will not have svlte or svdo your going to look so stupid with that up to your head and the midrange specs almost guarantees that its not going to get updates or accessories and accessories are important to me. It will not fit into a pocket. I seen the reviews for this device and it is a hassle to put into even deep pockets as its closer to a tablet than a phablet. I'm not happy about this at all and actually to me doesn't make since why they would do this in the first place. For me anyway its basically wait for the G2 or just wait until next years phone or PRAY TO THE HEAVENS THAT THIS NEXUS ON SPRINT COMES TO SAVE US ALL! Amen.
  17. He mentioned it won't have td lte 2600, and only mentioned it would have 1900 and said not having the band wont impact sales. I don't see how mentioning that the iphone has 800mhz LTE would have been a bad thing as it provides more coverage and building penetration so I don't see why he wouldn't have mentioned that. Would give people the ease of mind knowing they at least get dual band
  18. I was saying that because if they change the wimax protection site in my city to td lte it would be better than having to wait up to a year to see td lte in action around here.
  19. http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9242370/New_iPhones_don_t_support_Sprint_s_new_TD_LTE_add_on_network The Sprint Executive actually did not mention 800 mhz LTE on the 5S or 5C almost like either he didn't know it supports it or it does not support it and we are wrong.
