I've gotten over 30 mbps plenty of times on LTE

It really doesn't matter. It does not change the coverage since they just leave the towers on anyway. Sprint just acknowledge cities that are good enough to where they feel there's more LTE than 3G or just as much.

Yea another tower in the busy part of my city that has had its 3G upgrade got updated to LTE 2 days ago. Its getting better by the month.

The galaxy line cheap plastic can't stop squat lol. The battery is what stopped the bullet with the original evo and this time with the evo 3d also.

My few gripes about the EVO is high graphic games like wild blood, and even plants vs zombies 2 I seen a lot of stutter but on my GS3 they play way better. I guess 2gigs of ram does help and while battery life is not bad it was way better before the jellybean update. Also LTE perfomance only seems to drop when the LTE signal starts to become unusable.

Judging by this I will say I think November 8th is going to be one chaotic day for Sprint. I have a feeling we may see the Galaxy Mini, LG G2, HTC ONE Max, Galaxy S4T and Galaxy Mega with some policy changes and maybe even a soft launch for some 800 LTE all in the same day. -

Sprint seems to slow down production of the upgrades the week of Christmas though so I hope they have one hell of a November upgrade wise.

Verizon, At&t, Tmobile and even Metro PCS has full bars in that area so I don't see why it would be for them. Sprint has 3 to 4 bars and a lot of congestion since none of the 3 towers in this area have been upgraded.

I'm starting to think that besides the fact that it will be Sprints first triband phone that the issues connecting to LTE is already know by LG and Sprint and I would not be surprised to see a first day launch update for this phone to correct that problem.

My Evo almost always has faster LTE speeds than my galaxy s 3 even if the signal is not as good.

I agree I have pulled anywhere from 0.60-6mbps down on a -115 LTE signal

I'm holding out. If its not a good performer after I run some tests I have 14 days to take it back.
