  1. I have a good question. If I have a Wimax protection site that just so happens to be on a sprint nv tower and lets say they converted it to TD LTE. Would they skip the network vision 2600 on the nv tower and just put it one the clearwire part or will both get it?
  2. I dont think anyone in the tampa thread bought a triband hotspot.
  3. I will put it simple. If you want tmobile like coverage then 1900mhz is fine but if you want Verizon/At&t like coverage the 5s is the way to go.
  4. More noice cancellation. There is a specific feature in the camera app that lets you zoom in on a person's voice and trys to block other sounds
  5. Still think it will be a while before we can show others what they are missing out on. Verizon will likely have wide spread AWS before network vision 1.0 is finished at this rate. Most sites don't have 800 CDMA, 800 LTE, and there's still plenty of 1900 LTE/CDMA 1900 work to be done. I honestly do not believe all of this can be done by the second quarter of next year regardless of how much backhaul becomes available to ram up deployment it will never be done as fast as the other carriers because this is not a overlay but a true future proof upgrade.
  6. I guess that explains why its so quiet. Everyone got fed up waiting and bailed to tmobile lol
  7. I certainly will not. I get to addicted to the games and nothing gets done in my life. You try and play a graphic intensive game on the EVO LTE for one hour then you will see. The answer to my solution is to get a new phone which I am doing but Nov 8 doesn't seem close at this point. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  8. I hope your right and we are past the days where processors are basically outdated in 6 months to a year. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
  9. The EVO LTE was a great performer to until apps started to catch up in graphics slowing the S4 processor down and I suspect that this will be the fate of the snapdragon 600 sometime next year. The 800 is more future proof.
  10. Its proabably true that Verizon is still capable of being faster than sprint but since they have double the customers and a little more than half of the spectrum Sprint has I believe sprint speeds will be the same. For example at bestbuy mobile they was bragging about how Verizon can consistently pull down 12 mbps and is the fastest in the city. I pulled out my phone and showed them a speed test I did by my moms house that was 38 down 11 up and they couldn't believe it. They was under the impression that sprint was dirt slow. I told them they are dirt slow in places where they haven't upgraded which unfortunately is the places that matter most is the last towers remaining but once the busy part of town sees the upgrades I will be laughing. The worst part for me is I feel at the current pace network vision is rolling out I will be holding in that laugh for a long time.
  11. Also the EVO LTE struggles really hard to play games like wildblood(awesome game by the way). Battery life goes to the toilet playing 3D games and getting really hot to the point where it will turn it self off. I'm talking 1 hour of game play or sooner. Its really showing its age. Stand by time is still great though.
  12. White = no fingerprints black = smudge and print city. I got the white one so it won't look like every other phone and no prints. To each his own
  13. I have been told twice that once you get the phone and activate it that's when the email will kick in.
  14. White one hides the fingerprints much better because its a print magnet.
  15. lmao that's exactly how i feel Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk now Free
  16. I think the One Max is DOA. The camera is worse than the HTC one because they took out ois. The snapdragon 600 is plenty fast but why get the 600 when you can get the 800 now? The 800 is more future proof. Its massive in the hand thanks to bezels and its not as intuitive as the galaxy note 3. Beats is gone(not that big of deal but I bet you notice a sound difference)and the phone is so big that the finger print scanner on the back will be harder to reach and is not practical. What Samsung did right is to make the note 3 smaller than the note 2 making one handed handling not impossible. Its more plastic than the HTC one also and honestly besides the big battery I think that the HTC one is better. Sony and LG tried this big phone with no s pen like features and failed. The only upside to this seem to be triband support. And for all we no it could be a poor performer. I love HTC, I really do but this phone could have been so much more than just a big HTC one with 3 more features and 3 less features than the HTC One.
  17. According to there online policy you have to give back the $50 and if you already spent it then they will take it out of the price of the phone. The $50 gift card sadly is a online exclusive. I checked in store and thru a online rep. They both said online only.
  18. gotta try one of those. But lucky for me I'm keeping my EVO LTE and getting the LG G2 so its a win win for me Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk now Free
  19. All I know is from what I experience is beats audio when watching movies on my EVO is like surround sound through my headphones and when I watch youtube or movies on my gf's gs3 it just sounds like louder but no rich treble or bass in sight. You would have to own a beats device and another phone to understand what I mean. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk now Free
  20. I had beats audio headphones and they sound the same in my EVO LTE as my skull candy headphones. Also I have a galaxy S 3 and when listening over headphones and Bluetooth via car the beats audio always has richer sound and bass while the gs3 sound tinny and actually only works with the right side of my car speakers while my EVO works with all of it.
