  1. I hope this area gets NV soon. 94 near a McDonald's I eat lunch at. 868ms ping 0.02 Mbps up abd down. Strong signal too.
  2. I went back there again today the holes are all filled in and there are 2 cardboard boxes in the fenced in area. One has part number BYB91133/2. BYB91133/1 I can Google, its ais a Ericsson BYB 91133/1 Base frame GBF. The /2 number did not turn up. Anyone know what the /2 Is? I bet its either part of the same frame or slightly different one. It looks like the plastic conduit for the backhaul is in place but I have no way of knowing if it has fiber in it. The ground in the cage is no longer tore up and looks to be final condition with no more trenching or big holes to follow anytime soon. An area I couldn't really seen in very good is covered in a clear temporary tarp and surrounded by older cabinets. That's where I could make out the other box. There may have been more but I didn't see any. Is it ok to refer to the cell site number? To be honest I only know about it from the sponsor map area. It just would be easier to pin down which site I was talking about than near 1-270 and South a bit on West Florissant. I was parked at 38.75401/-90.27868 ad had a RSSI of -45 and got 0.52Mbps/0.45Mbdps with a 210ms ping. Ping seems to be down from 300-400 but through put is about the same. The entrance to the site is from the Dellwood Recreation Center also know as the Dellwood Indoor Soccer Arena. I found out Sunday is not a good day to go site checking there. Its packed for a game. No new panels on the tower of course.
  3. Love that song. Wish I had a "lease breaker" stereo to listen to it.
  4. I have a Note 2 and love it. If i was looking for a phone next month it sounds like my choice would be the S4 if Sprint gets it then. A screen size between the S3 and the Note 2 would be about perfect and it should a speed demon. The note too is just a tad too big to reach the top left one handed for me.
  5. When you narrow it down search the reviews Google returns for a few models and look at some pictures they took looking for noise and how they work in low light too. I don't need a camera that good. The $150 14 mega pixel 24x zoom cheapie I got is good enough for the few I take. I was more into years ago. Like they said above you can't beat a good lens. Good ones gather more light and have less distortion. More light you can either use a higher shutter speed with the same ISO setting for fast action or a lower ISO setting for less noise in the image.
  6. Ok for my last few posts 3G=EVDO. I thought it was Sprint's only 3G.
  7. I was really wondering if they might do just do 1x and LTE someday. 3G travels a little further and the way some people hate change I bet 3G will be around for a long time. Longer than most would think using up space that could be used for LTE to keep those who hate change happy.
  8. Is it even possible and do you think they would change 3G RF carriers at Sprint sites to 4G LTE down the road as more phones have LTE available?
  9. I still think a good old fashioned Ozark's knife fight could have settled this.
  10. Near 175(Range Line if your still in town) south of Joplin about 2 miles past River road if you don't want to look it up.
  11. You need the MSL to use a non stock rom?
  12. Sounds like a good place for those micrcell things Clearwire wants to deploy, but that would take new phones not out yet to use them.
  13. Wish I wouldn't have asked. Not that I know its 5 out of 750 seems like it got longer till I get LTE.
  14. Anyone know how many total sites in the Missouri Sprint market? So I will know how many are left to go.
  15. Welcome to Missouri. Only warning I have if you try to use the unofficial state slogan "Show Me" as a pick up line be prepared to get slapped a lot.
  16. It's after 4 AM and Robert is still up. LTE must be coming.
  17. You need LTE when your driving from Joplin to Chicken Mary's or Chicken Annie's
  18. Gotcha... SW Missouri feeling the LTE love. Very nice. <couldn't find a good Borat link for here>
  19. Note too is just a tad too big for my hands stretching to the top left corner. S4 or S5 by the time I can get a new phone will be about right.
  20. Pretty close to it ya. About 2 miles South and 3 East. It't right here on 171 just after you get into Missouri.\ No Sensorly plots near there yet.
  21. Ok ok I will stop posting from work where I have to deal with the over aggressive spell check on the phone and avoiding getting noticed by the boss.
