  1. Unlike at&t and late-to-the-party t-mobile, Sprint's plans to have the entirety of their network upgraded to LTE when they're done. That has to matter. Once they're done, the instances of fall back to 3G should be few and far between compared to most of their peers. Besides, what is the definition of inferior? If a Sprint device is pulling 10 Mbps and a VZW device is pulling down 12 Mbps, will most customers really notice or even care unless they're sitting around running speed tests all day with the two devices? Never mind the fact that Sprint has unlimited LTE data while at&t and VZW do not. That also has to matter. This prediction by Muppet has about much legs as his Sprint bankruptcy prediction. I think he'll have to admit that he was wrong again.
  2. Seems like at least a fair amount of the money is simply going back home to 'mother Germany' to help Deutsche Telekom pay down debt: http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/sns-rt-us-tmobileusa-crowncastlebre88r0o7-20120928,0,746149.story

  4. I'm not sure that I'd want to connect to that...
  5. Do you know what things specifically cause a failed site?
  6. 1000% agreed. At least the authors disclose what their current and future positions are in the stocks that they're writing about (though I'm curious as to how Seeking Alpha verifies that). It'd be nice to know what that clown, Craig Moffet's, positions are when he bashes certain stocks and ballwashes others.
  7. Lol! So excited, you couldn't wait for the upload test to complete, huh?
  8. Well it should get better relatively soon. Hopefully you can hold out until then.
  9. Perhaps you could even toss a few network related questions out there for Hesse or Azzi to field... I'm sure they know all about S4GRU Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Yes, he does love his cable companies.
  11. If there is a bigger idiot than Muppet in the telecom analyst space right now, I'd love for someone to point him/her out. I keep thinking that Craig can't possibly be that dumb and time and again he proves me wrong. Either that or he's crazy like a fox trying to make an easy buck shorting the stock...
  12. Just saw over on DSLR a lot of boo-hooing over this press release. Also saw iansltx resonating some knowledge to the masses, unfortunately few things seem to have more inertia than ignorance.
  13. I saw on another site where someone was ripping Sprint pretty saying that there was no LTE in Atlanta. Someone tried to explain to him that the problem, at least in part, likely was his Evo LTE. He wasn't trying to hear it though and ported to t-mobile. HTC really needs to get the Evo LTE sorted out or else Sprint should consider pulling it. It's making Sprint look bad and they certainly don't need any more help in that regard.
  14. Assuming that they can get into the black around that time frame, I wouldn't be surprised to see some coverage expansion announced. Of course, I also expect to see some M&A activity next year so who knows?
  15. How is that debatable? Admittedly, I don't know if the rules of math are different on the Island of Enchantment, but here in Sin City, $90>$80 every day of the week.
  16. As long as Sprint can get a premium for the spectrum, either in cash or trade for spectrum from at&t, they'd be foolish not sell. I don't think it's likely that they're going to do much with it.
  17. I hope that's not the case as it would be stupid and sorta defeats one of the purposes of a SIM card. Either way I'm still getting it though!
  18. The more congested the network gets, the more likely it is that network performance will suffer. In turn, that will probably force Sprint to raise rates to pay for additional backhaul and/or go to tiered data. Whereas if everyone who had access to decent Wi-Fi used it, it would save Sprint money (not our concern) which *hopefully* would prevent them from having to rates or at least not raising them by very much (definitely our concern).
