  3. Got this on WiMAX relaxing at the beach in Rockport, TX: As long as I can consistently get similar speeds from LTE and it stays unlimited I'll be happy. Sent from my PG41200 using Tapatalk 2

  6. I'm certainly not suggesting that Sprint not pursue the H block. Spectrum is the lifeblood of a wireless carrier and Sprint has to acquire as much as they reasonably expect to be able to use going forward. However, the H block would require going back to the 3gpp and asking them to approve another band class. Hopefully they could make it a superset which would also encompass LTE band class 25 which Sprint is currently using. Regardless, no LTE handset currently sold would support the H block. I doubt if any handsets sold next year will either. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

  9. No iPhones to date support CDMA on the 800MHz SMR band. I'm sure Apple still advertises it as supporting 800MHz, but what they're actually referring to is the 850MHz cellular band. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

  12. Since LTE hasn't even been announced for my area, SVLTE does me little good at the moment. So no SVDO=no buy for me. Too bad because I was very interested in this handset at one point. So close LG, but yet so far...
  13. True, financially they're doing adequate for the moment. However, their churn is up and they continue to lose postpaid subscribers. They're not doing Leap bad or even Sprint bad, but I'd still be mildly surprised if they survive the next few years intact.
  14. Yeah USCC's spectrum holdings are kinda all over the place. Much like Leap, i think their days as an independent carrier are numbered. They're currently doing better than Cricket, but it's inevitable that they'll be gobbled up one day. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Cricket can't pay their bill? It may be time to call these gentlemen: If Sprint is thinking about making a move for Leap, now may be the time. Depending on the results of the November elections, VZW may decide to snap up Leap and/or Metro. The timing isn't ideal, of course, as Sprint is trying to execute network vision. Additionally, the $3B or so of debt that Leap is carrying is worrisome as well. Regardless of who the suitor is, Something is going to happen with Leap sooner rather than later i imagine. They should've taken that buyout offer from Metro several years ago... Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2
