  1. I sorta suspected that might be the case. That's why I haven't been too bummed about Las Vegas apparently being somewhere near the tail end of NV deployment. Well that and decent WiMAX performance when I need it . I hope that when they finally do decide to start deploying here that they've gotten any and all bugs worked out of their installation and testing procedures and they give us the whole 9 yards in one fell swoop.
  2. Very interesting. I think this article gives some much needed clarity to this bird issue which I'm sure many have thought of as a joke or flimsy excuse on Sprint's part.
  3. Sprint is supposed to bring 4G LTE to nearly every one of their cell sites. If you have 1xRTT and/or EVDO coverage now, you should eventually get LTE.
  4. As long as it's a Sprint iPhone, yes it should count.
  5. Wow, that's just inane on Apple's part if there is no SVDO or SvLTE.
  6. If you're not heavily invested into the Android ecosystem, I say give the iPhone 5 a shot. Though I've never owned an iPhone, I do have an iPad and a couple of Macs at home. I agree with bigsnake49, for all of the hate that Apple has been getting of late, their product quality and attention to detail is second to none. Had Sprint had the iPhone when I was migrating away from webOS, I'd probably be rocking iOS instead of Android now.
  7. So with LTE bands 1, 3 and 5 included, once LTE roaming gets set up, the Sprint and Verizon iPhones are actually superior international devices (except for Canada) than AT&T's iPhone ! That's a radical departure from the norm.
  8. What does that mean? The Sprint iPhone 5 LTE was announced yesterday.
  9. It seems like C-Spire could be a winner as well seeing that they have apparently deployed some LTE on their PCS spectrum. Is there any indication on whether the CDMA iPhone can do SVDO? That would be a huge talking point to take away from AT&T. Also, since LTE Band Class 26 encompasses the cellular band, is there any technical reason for Band Class 5 to still be in use anymore?
  10. Interesting. That SID appears to belong to t-mobile unless the list I'm looking at @ the roaming zone is outdated, which is entirely possible.
