  1. But then the Evo LTE has a problem staying connected with LTE back in the ConUS? Sprint really needs to get on their OEMs to get their firmwares or whatever the problem is sorted out.
  2. I would guess that this PR is somewhat of a response to VZW's recent LTE comparison ads as well as preemptive move to assuage consumers ahead of a presumed LTE iPhone announcement in a couple of days.
  3. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/sprint-4g-lte-available-more-140000450.html Nothing really new for those of us here, but nice to see that Sprint is making more rollout information available for the average consumer.
  4. Though I'm very interested in the Note 2, a Sprint variant of the Razr Maxx HD would certainly catch my eye as well.
  5. Epic 4G. Samsung took forever to push updates out for it and the RF performance on it was lacking. Then there was the inexplicable inability to 1900MHz roam bug that certain Samsungs had (have?). I got my daughter a Moment and that was just the biggest piece of crap ever produced IMO. Even before my Epic experience, I've never been overly impressed with Samsung radios especially compared to Motorola. My old lady just ordered a Photon Q yesterday (for $99.99, good price imo) so I'll see how that performs though I personally have little desire to buy one. Moreover, the recent Motorola event led me to conclude that they're still pretty much all about verizon so I have to continue to look at HTC, LG and Samsung. The LG Eclipse looks intriguing but at present doesn't appear to support SVDO which is a bit of a head-scratcher. HTC may or may not have 5" phone coming out that seems to have impressive specs, but it appears headed to verizon. So if this Note 2 comes to Sprint and there's little else appealing on the horizon I'll probably give it a whirl.
  6. If by the time this comes out there's nothing else that catches my eye, I might give Sammy another shot...
  7. Interesting. I have also thought of trying to start an MVNO especially since Sprint *seems* makes it so easy. Of course one needs a demographic to market to and a marketing campaign that sets the new MVNO apart from Boost & Virgin, not to mention all of the MVNOs on Sprint's network as well as powerhouses such as Straight Talk, Tracfone, Page Plus, etc. It's a daunting task, but could be worth it for someone with a keen marketing mind. 9. Ah, I see. That's potentially exciting news if/when USCC begins to refarm cellular spectrum for LTE since, of course, band class 26 also encompasses the cellular band. Could set up a nice roaming agreement for Sprint consumers.
  10. Interesting. Is it possible that USCC might use their 700MHz spectrum to cover some of those areas?
  11. Deep throat (referring to the informant in the Watergate scandal, of course)
  12. Actually it looks like USCC's AWS license with the call sign of WQGV753 covers most, if not all, of that area that you have depicted.
