  1. Also keep in mind sprint is planning to throw another 20mhz on top of the current 20 already..I don't think sprint will ever adopt GSM, it should skip it and do Volte.
  2. They launch a market when it covers 40% of the population. It could mean 10% of the market is complete, or 80% But its actually pretty reasuring that with only 22% of the network complete, it covers that many.
  3. Bro! that's awesome! thanks for all the details! Its amazing how overcrowded B25 has become! Also, comparing B26 to your 3G does show similar signal strengths, which is right online with what we expected (assuming its coming from the same sites..)
  4. That is pretty spectacular speed for 5pm anywhere in NYC!
  5. I would love to see a comparison to 3G in terms of signal strength. The general consensus is that its slightly stronger.
  6. My N5, has always done this..must be a triband thing
  7. No connection between B25 and 1x800, When you initiate a call, your phone should switch to voice 1xRTT or 1x800 despite of LTE signal. But if you do happen to lose LTE, it should switch to 3G of some type, which would display 1x800 or 1xRTT.
  8. FYI, all B26 conversations are now being hosted here, also Congrats on the first sighting in NY! http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5107-lte-800-band-26-sites-accepted-discussion/page-67
  9. Setting it up as LTE only, is exacty that....Only "LTE" no fallback to 1x or 3G
  10. I have a sneaking suspicion that Sprint adjusted down tilt in Midtown manhattan, considering they have a lot more completed sites than when they started that would make sense. The sites no longer have to cover as many users, since the advantage of PCS spacing is finally taking shape.
  11. I would roam on Verizon on all those stations till yesterday, I still do roam on Verizon below 47-50th on the orange lines.
  12. ATT vs Sprint in midtown Manhattan, during the middle of the day, 2 40pm taken a minute apart.. Also you will notice, ATT's signal was stronger than Sprints as well.. The power of B41.. I also have been noticing improved B25 performance lately, Seems like they are tweaking it, (averaging about 3-5mb sec in same area)
  13. The N5's digital zoom is weak at best, and taking a shot of an antenna sitting on a six story high building isn't one of its strong suits. Im gonna borrow my girlfriends D SLR and see if I can get decent shots..
  14. Here is the link, you can download it directly onto your phone and install it.. http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407588553
  15. Yeah somebody mentioned 57th st, but it was turned on in quite a few more stations..
  16. Looks like transitwireless is finally making some progress on the underground train service for sprint. Got LTE on 7th ave station, 59th st Columbus circle, 72nd st, 81st, 86st and 96st full LTE...speeds average about 10mb sec.
  17. GV conversations have been moved here... http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5848-google-voice/ One thing i can say, i have not missed one call since day before yesterday, need more time to test but seems really promising so far..
  18. Me as well btwn 15-20 second delay ...now its zero delay.
