  1. WOW, I honestly could not disagree with you more, B41 here in NYC is pretty epic and 100% necessary. Coverage is not a huge concern in most cases in NYC. Also, I sit on B41 about 80% of the time all over the city, and it makes a substantial difference. B41 (especially with 8t8r) will be Sprint's Trump card! Early reports already put 8t8r antenna's coverage at about the same as B25(maybe slightly less) plus NYC site spacing, I fully expect Sprint to demolish every other carrier by this time next year (at least here in NYC)
  2. Picked up B26 in cross county mall. Switched flawlessly between all three bands.
  3. Me too, but PRL is unchanged, still on 55019.
  4. That's great to hear! Clear B41 is typically about -10dbm worse than Sprints B25 on co-located sites in my comparisons, But obviously even at -10dBm worse, it still handily beats it in raw download speed.
  5. How would you say it compares to B25 signal strength?
  6. Sounds promising, If you get a chance pay the site a visit and get a shot of the antennas.
  7. Are you referring to the NV maps? or the Clear maps?
  8. Keep in mind, that the clear maps on the premiere forums have not been updated in quite a while. Despite that, a bunch of towers that are not listed as accepted have been and are already active. But by chance that it isnt a clear site and indeed a sprint site, try to get a shot of the antennas. Here in NY, we have yet to get a shot of a live site.
  9. That is actually pretty spectacular for a stadium full of patrons! Typically a DAS is setup to handle stadiums of people, if with a weak signal you were still able to pull nearly 4mb/sec, that in itself, is awesome. Most carriers go DOA during crowded events.
  10. FYI, Sprint Netindex average has increased almost 10% in the last week or so nationwide, in Manhattan, Sprint is catching up to Tmobile which is showing a slowing trend and so is Att (which Sprint already trumped big time). Verizon and Sprint both are showing increase of speeds as more and more users balance the load with B26/B41 and Verizons AWS. I predict Sprint will overtake Tmobile in NYC within 3-4 months, and match or if not surpass Verizon in the next 10-12 months (cough*cough Carrier Aggregation)
  11. You might have missed this... http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5816-tdd-lte-2600-band-41-8t8r-progressdiscussion-thread/?p=326096 & http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5816-tdd-lte-2600-band-41-8t8r-progressdiscussion-thread/?p=328141 You might have access to B41 waaay sooner than you anticipated.
  12. Seems like the window for B26 is very narrow as of now (Near my home, cant really speak for other locations), it might still need some tweaking, but my N5 only connects once my B25 signal is between -112dBm and -116dBm, anything worse than -116dBm will skip B26 all together and push me to 3G(which requires a ton of choking lol) even though I do receive about -12dBm better on B26. But im hoping they tweak it a bit more, there is one site that covers a huge area around my neighborhood and seems to be burdened more often than not. Once I am on B26 my speeds are awesome! so it would be nice to use it for a nice bump in speed and not just a bit of extra coverage.
  13. New baseband blows the others away in mature markets, but if your in a market that is not, an older baseband might be for you, just glad we have that option with this phone.
  14. I would expect that until more sites and B26/B41 from sprint come online, but definitely beats unusable 3G service...
  15. Thats awesome! lower Manhattan has been the only place where service is almost unusable without a Triband device. Its great to see them finally bringing sprint sites online down there, its been quite a while since the last site came online!
  16. I believe a huge percentage of clear sites had eCSFB issues, since I was able to connect to quite a few of those sites with .15 radio which ignored eCSFB. Looks like they did a full sweep of updates.
  17. Its speedtest.net ISP rankings site, looks like sprint overtook ATT in the island of manhattan, I expect the rest of the boroughs to follow suite soon enough.
  18. I get it in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and of course Manhattan, I have yet to try it in Staten island or Long island. Fastest ive hit is 81mb sec burst, and settled at 75mb/sec.
  19. Got a taste on B26 inside my apartment, signal went from -90dBm to -80dBm! It looks as tho optimizations are in full effect! This is what we have all been waiting for...just wow!
  20. looks like sprint is finally addressing all the eCSFB issues, my N5 is holding LTE beautifully! The hand offs are absolutely seamless! This could be the reason. Also the load balancing is awesome! Speeds have been amazing all morning.
  21. Which device are you using with these results?
  22. I stopped doing them alooong time ago, before .15 was a thing, it was the only way to latch onto B41. Seems like ages ago!
  23. SInce I always do both Profile and PRL in tandem that could explain that.
