I have mentioned this to you before bro (and numerous other members, Its probably B26 lacking eCSFB, just throw your phone onto LTE only mode, till the issue is resolved. And for the record, the N5's radio smokes the GS4.. -

My phone briefly connected to B26 (Was able to snap a shot of Signal Check) this morning @ home in the Bx by the Grand Concourse, But didn't want to post anything until I can confirm it 100% By the time I loaded the field test page it had jumped back on B25..

Does sprint have enough spectrum to deploy another 5x5 carrier in NYC?

Typically, I find this to be the case when connected to WiFi, it doesn't refresh the LTE signal as quickly..

Finally got Native sprint LTE at the train station I use the most, 34th street Herald Sq! Awesome streaming from my plex server while i wait for the train!

3G maxes out around the 2mb range, im 100% sure he was on LTE(ignoring the fact that it actually says LTE on sensorly), but looking at the bars, he had pretty low signal strength.

But the first sighting was in the Bronx, dont know if it came from Bx tower or from Manhattan too close to the border.

B41 should be first to scan. You will mostly be on B41 outdoors, especially once they have it on all NV sites with 8r8r antennas. Also to balance load amongst the bands.

Finally got my first hit of B26 on 180th st off of Amsterdam ave. Signal was around -90dBm and speeds were btwn 4-7mb sec. Vs about 1mb on -77dBm on B25 same spot.

It also allows the viewfinder to display the appropriate size your capturing unlike the previous app.

PCS signal is super strong in NYC..not much reason to switch.

Its possible its coming from either the bronx or Washington heights! Or it could possibly be a cluster launch! What kind of speeds were you getting? Considering your signal is pretty good, Id bet on a Manhattan site..

The thing about the Nexus 5 is that B41 is always last to be scanned..so no matter what! It wont connect unless B25 is lower than -110dBm

I think you'll be hard pressed to find B26, maybe a bit too soon. Its also gotten to the point where B25 signal is too strong for me to even pick up B41. We need that update like yesterday!

I find that speed itself with a decent server is between 5-10mb faster on ookla, also the pings are worlds better..

B25 around 10mb and 20mb on B41..

I hit 50's and 60's on a few sites, in midtown, but average is closer to 35
