  1. Wow that would be perfect. If you could post the link I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
  2. I'm really torn between the Otterbox Commuter and the Incipio DualPro. I really like the Commuter on my EVO LTE so I'm leaning more towards another Commuter. I also am hoping a holster will work with either. The Seidio Active holster works with the Commuter for my EVO perfectly. Has anyone tried either of these?
  3. Ahh ok that's interesting. I figured the phone was trying to connect to it or something and that's why I was seeing it. And Monday, my phone will connect to LTE if I'm one floor higher than where my office is. Go figure! It's probably connecting to one of the towers in the distance (probably in your area) that have LTE. Hopefully they deploy on campus soon.
  4. How can this happen? This is in a non-4g area. Usually I can pick up 4g if I'm on a high enough floor in a building, but this was in a ground level outdoor parking lot.
  5. You know what's interesting, I had this same issue with my phone and my wife's phone not ringing for at least 30 seconds when called. We were having that issue all last week, but only when we were at home. It seemed to get fixed a couple of days ago so I guess in my case it was an issue with whatever tower we were connected to.
  6. Gotta say, this is tempting when I have an upgrade sitting on my account! http://www.androidcentral.com/amazon-launching-one-day-htc-one-sale-tomorrow Trying to hold out for an LTE 800 device or the successor next year, but man....
  7. I've seen quite a bit of movement. There's a tower near where I live that went from no panels to LTE live in 1.5 weeks. Also in the area between Miami Gardens Drive and 826 on Red Road (NW 57th Ave) has LTE now... that happened within the last week. I haven't tracked down which tower is serving that area. It's encouraging to see the movement!
  8. I agree. I'm feeling the One but I wouldn't want to get that and then not be able to use LTE 800 if it comes out in my area within 2 years. That thought crossed my mind too. I don't really want a repeat of the Evo LTE issues with my next phone.
  9. Where's our FCC write up? What band is LTE 800 that Sprint is eventually deploying? I'm sure we'll be excited when the first phone with that hits.
  10. Ah ok I see. So the only thing that's left to do after the IDEN shutdown is site acceptance? Then they flip a switch then boom we have CDMA and LTE 800? And this starts happening within weeks of the IDEN shutdown?
  11. I'm a little confused. Is the equipment for CDMA 800 already on towers that have been upgraded to 4g? What about the equipment for LTE 800?
  12. Did we ever figure out what phone this is?
  13. The jury is still out on whether those RF issues apply to the HTC One as well right? There's so many mixed reviews regarding this.
  14. I've been wondering this myself. A couple of the 4G towers around me max out (when under/across the street from the tower) at about 15 mbps. One used to be at 30+ mbps. The other one just launched.
  15. Here at the U of Miami I got a huge boost in battery life once school was over. I guess the tower here on campus was way overtaxed with all the kids on it.
  16. Still on this morning! One thing I noticed is the coverage isn't nearly as wide as other sites. If I travel half a mile away from the tower it drops to 3g. With many other towers the range is at least a mile. I'm guessing since it just came online there's still some tweaking to do.
  17. It was back on again when I was on my way home. Either they test it during the day or my phone is slow to pick it up (entirely possible).
  18. I guess they were just testing. A few hours later I was back in that area and nothing. Still not on this morning either.
  19. The site I mentioned is already live! A week and a half from installation to live seems like a great turnaround time to me! Got about 15mbps down on a speed test too.
  20. I'm not sure if here is the right area to ask this question. Sprint leases space on each tower for their antennas. I'm assuming they are replacing the old existing antennas with the new LTE ones. So does Sprint rent another section on the tower to put the new antennas on before they take down the old antennas?
