  1. lol. No kidding, and that's putting it lightly.. turn the vol up and listening to him explains it all.
  2. No rev B in NV (unless its unannounced). I haven't seen anywhere that says rev B is part of NV, and I believe that is the general consensus here. Not sure about the speeds, though. If, you're consistently doing better then 1 meg down, you're doing pretty good for 3G. Maybe you'll be more in the 2 range. (?). However, I believe EVDO-Advanced is part of NV, 1x-A Edit: http://www.qualcomm....rformance-ev-do
  3. I hear ya, but keep in mind that NV will also improve 3G data speeds for all. And, the new tower setups are said to improve overall signal strength in general (something like a 20% increase right off the bat, even at 1900mhz). But, yea, sucks they wont get any of the 800mhz goodness.
  4. Pretty sure the 800 listed on the 3VO includes the SMR band, so it should be good to go. As far as I know, most of the newer phones are included... Although I have heard the iPhone and Photon got left out.
  5. However, Im still curious if there will be an iPad that runs exclusively on Sprints network. There are rumors out there... such as photos of a Sprint new iPad in BestBuy's system.
  6. Not to mention, this is an old article, and therefore, probably irrelevant. I didn't realize that until after I posted. My sincere apologies.

    Sprint iPad

Will there be an iPad that runs on Sprint's network? This article from cnet suggests it is on the way. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-20106099-94/sprint-to-get-its-own-ipad-2-report-says/?fb_ref=fbrecT&fb_source=profile_multiline
  8. I haven't seen any that support GSM, if that is what you're asking.
  9. That is a really good point, and that may have gone unnoticed have you not brought it up. I think the knowledge you continue to bring fourth is is invaluable! Thank you for bringing this invaluable knowledge to the S4GRU community. I look forward to your future insight!
  10. here is a video for the Viper... nice looking girl too. LG Girl FTW!
  11. Another familiar name... Glad you made it here, EM!!
  12. Out of all the phones I've used, the OG EVO was probably my favorite. Hoping I can crown the EVO LTE when I get it.
  13. As far as I know, Sprint will waive initial activation fees if the device(s) is purchased online. What I do know is, I have yet to pay an upgrade fee on Sprint in 13 years as a Sprint customer. If you just call them up, and ask them nicely, they will remove it for you... at least its worked for me about 8 or so times now... takes about 5 minutes.
  14. I've used Sprint since 1999, but I have had a brief run with Verizon for a few months, and also a brief run with ATT for about a week and a half. I kept my Sprint line(s) active while I "tested" the other two out, and, obviously, stayed with Sprint.
  15. http://phandroid.com/2012/04/10/sprint-stores-begin-receiving-signage-for-galaxy-nexus-lte-will-launch-on-april-15th/
  16. From Sprint.com: "Users of the Sprint 4G network can expect to experience average speeds of 3Mbps to 6Mbps download and up to 1.5Mbps upload" http://shop2.sprint.com/en/coverage/support/important_coverage_info_popup.shtml 7.2mb is Over what they suggest for 4G speeds.
  17. Those are actually really good numbers for any 3G network.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Do they have real, live, fully functioning and activated phones on display? This is how I tell if its a true Sprint Corporate store. Every Sprint corporate store I've been to has every phone on display live, and activated. Every non-Sprint store does not.. they might have one or two.. but not all.
  19. those were my thoughts too. lol. They just posted this on Phandroid. I commented, "This is reallly old news for anyone who has been to www.s4gru.com"

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

I've said that for a while now.... since I got into Android. And, imo, that's the best thing about Android.
