Good to hear! So, we're looking at roughly 640 new cell towers with Network Vision?... that we know of.

I saw the new towers at network.sprint.com One of them is in South PHX on Baseline rd between 35th and 43rd ave @ Cezar Chavez Park. There are others, too. EDIT: Another just South of Van Buren rd between 67th and 59th ave. EDIT: Another at KIWA, just southwest of the field.

Just keep in mind that these upgrades are not directly related to Network Vision... they are just minor upgrades to help tie us over until official Network Vision upgrades arrive, "band-aid fixes," if you will. The true NV upgrades are what will make the big difference.

Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge Scott! My new truck runs on a Li-Po.. when I was purchasing it I had a hard time justifying the price difference... but the salesman talked me into it. However, I'm glad I did it! The R/C truck has a significantly noticeable improvement in battery life. Now, all we need is a confirmation the new EVO uses this technology. This, in addition to the larger capacity battery in general on the EVO (vs the One X), should be a WIN! Thx again, Scott.

Battery technology in the EVO LTE... I have heard rumors that the battery in the EVO is a Li-Po (vs. Li-ion). Rumors are based on the fact that they managed to get a larger capacity battery in a slimmer phone (then the One X). I understand the cathode found in a Li-Po battery degrades slower, resulting in a battery that retains its maximum capacity longer. In one of my other hobbies (R/C planes and cars), I know that the Li-Po batteries are the latest and greatest thing (although very expensive!). Thoughts? Anyone with some battery knowledge care to chime in?

Doesn't really bother me, nor should it anyone who puts their phone in a case. Although I think your point is valid. I'm curios to see if any 3rd party manufactures make a replacement cover.

I hope they do too. although, I cannot imagine them not. The HTC brand car dock for the original Evo 4G was very nice.. well built. (although pricey)

confirmed by HTC.. not happening.. no 3D version. "Update: Well, we just heard back from HTC and the company confirmed that it's not a prototype of any future device. Apparently, it's just an early design when HTC and Sprint were considering carrying over the 3D feature, but it didn't make the cut.
