  1. I nominate Phoenix to be the market to which the 800 LTE FIT's be deployed! Edit: In all seriousness... this is Great news!
  2. That is pretty cool of them! It looks rather patriotic to me, too... very appropriate for the Memorial Day weekend!
  3. You think Sprint will get crazy and add a keyboard to the SGSIII (like they did on the OG Galaxy S)? EDIT: Crazy... I dunno why this posted here... I definitely responded to this: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1023-eol-for-samsung-epic-and-samsung-conquer-4g/page__p__19020&do=findComment&comment=19020
  4. Glad to see that. Also, I think your Android 4.0 upgrade wont be long, Josh. Pretty sure LG already confirmed it for the Viper.
  5. Apparently, its just like Sprint's LG Viper LTE, with the addition of a slide out keyboard and Android 4.0 http://phandroid.com/2012/05/23/sprints-lg-cayenne-ls860-with-5-row-qwerty-keyboard-leaked/
  6. Good to hear, Josh! I like the Viper.. hope it continues to work out well for you!

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

hopefully crApple can someday compete with innovation instead of legal litigation. They have some nice phones, but it is unfortunate they cannot compete based on technology alone and have to rely on their legal team to be competitive.
  8. Sprint has lowered the price on the LG Viper LTE to $79 and is offering a $25 dollar Google Wallet credit. Not too shabby of a deal!
  9. Robert will get you "upgraded" soon. Your name will turn green soon... then you'll have access.
  10. You just got a Viper LTE and I still see "Sent from Joshs iPhone 3Gs using Forum Runner?"
  11. Josh, can you please elaborate? I understand that the EVO LTE and the Viper support SVDO and SVLTE. However, what do you mean by "SVDO wont be necessary?"
  12. Looks like we can put an end to these rumors: Sprint Shareholders vote to re-elect Dan Hesse. 90% vote in favor of Hesse. http://money.msn.com/business-news/article.aspx?feed=OBR&date=20120515&id=15112432
  13. Engadget's review has been updated. One quote I found of interest: "Update: We finally put the EVO 4G LTE through our usual battery rundown test (looping a video with brightness and volume set to 50%, Bluetooth disabled, WiFi turned on but not connected and CDMA plus LTE enabled) and the phone lasted eight hours and 55 minutes, just like AT&T's One X -- this despite a larger 2000mAh battery (vs. 1800mAh on its cousin) and a strong CDMA signal. The difference is likely due to the LTE radio being enabled without a network available. We were unable to test HD Voice because the feature is not expected to start rolling out on Sprint's network until "late 2012", according to a spokesperson. Regular calls, however, sounded clear on both ends and reception was problem free." http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/10/htc-evo-4g-lte-for-sprint-review/
  14. Based on that, You should do quite well with 1900 LTE, probably even see a bit of an improvement in signal strength.
  15. I've swapped phones 4 times in the last year, never charged a dime.
  16. 99% sure that does not include Sprints 800smr, unfortunately.
  17. That brings up an interesting question.... Take Sprints first 6 markets, now how many markets would Verizon label this as? As you may know, 1 of sprints markets is much larger then one of Verizon's markets.. so if each carrier had 10 "markets" Sprint would have far more coverage.
  18. Last year there were alot of rumors that LG was competing for the Nexus device. Any chance this is the 2012/2013 Nexus?

EVO 4G LTE boot loader unlocked... This is good news! http://www.androidce...ocked-just-fine http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1648826
  20. I was at KSDL flying most the day (Scottsdale, AZ); I ran several speed tests from the airport and around the Scottsdale area.. the 3G "band-aid" fixes seem to have made a pretty big difference... I was consistently getting over 1.2Mbps down and about 1Mbps up throughout the day.
  21. HAHA! almost a GB on the the Speedtest.net app alone! Good thing you're not on "one of those limited data plans!" That will be me when I get my first taste of Network Vision, too! lol
