  1. So that unidentified phone in Sprint's lab is definitely something other then this?
  2. Sprint officially launching ICS on the EVO 3D in June!! http://phandroid.com/2012/05/09/sprint-exec-confirms-htc-evo-3d-ice-cream-sandwich-update-rolling-out-in-june/

EVO LTE camera in action: http://www.engadget.com/2012/05/09/first-sample-shots-with-htcs-evo-4g-lte-for-sprint/
  4. Wouldn't the 3rd party retailer (i.e. BestBbuy) have to do the price matching, since Sprint is selling it for $150 cheaper?
  5. So both Virgin's and Boost's EVO's are launching with Android 4, ICS. I wonder when the Sprint versions will get the upgrade.
  6. SGSIII to get Snapdragon s4? Samsungs quad core chip must not support LTE after all. http://phandroid.com...6gb-of-storage/
  7. +1 I couldn't have said it better. Also, the EVO LTE has added expendable memory (sd card), which is huge in my book.
  8. Mr. Hesse has agreed to give up $3.25M of his compensation in an attempt to shut-up those who oppose the iPhone investment. http://www.kansascity.com/2012/05/04/3594255/sprints-hesse-to-forgo-325-million.html I'm not an iPhone fan by any stretch of the imagination, but it has helped Sprint to bring in new customers as they transition from WiMax to LTE... So, (imo), the investors should be thankful, in some respects.
  9. ...Kindle Fire, huh? Nice! Haven't seen you with that one before. How is that? Can you root and run straight Android on it?

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

I know it doesn't guarantee anything, but I was on G+ the other day and ran across a post from some Sprint employee that said he was in EVO 4G LTE training.. I asked if there was any word of when it will be released. He said they (sprint) told him about 2 weeks after the 7th.
  12. Do you put your phone in a case (like most people)? If so, I wouldn't put too much stock into the "pebble blue." Never gonna see it. Just a suggestion/thought. I agree with your assessment though.
  13. Looks good on paper! However, these might not mean anything to us if the US (LTE) variations end up with a different chip. (i.e. if the Exynos quad-core does not support LTE).
  14. The "new tower" I checked out in PHX was legacy equipment. So I guess that means they are not installing Network Vision equipment till they arrive to that market to do the full NV buildout. (although this is just one experience in an isolated case.)
  15. ^^ Yes, the removable battery will probably be attractive to some. But, damn, they are still using a PenTile screen?

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

HTC posts camera shots from EVO LTE on FB. http://www.androidce...s-facebook-site Direct FB link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150994170823084.523473.101063233083&type=1
  17. http://www.anandtech...or-att-review/3 Well, that's quite the review. Looks like the the EVO LTE with its S4 will stack up impressively well against anything available. Pretty much ranks among the top 2 or 3 in everything they tested, whereas the other high end devices were kind of all over the place. Just looks all around impressive and very consistent.
  18. Very impressive, indeed! And i think that the EVO 4G LTE is not equipped with SVDO, but it does have SVLTE.
  19. Yea, Apple has the rights to about everything... so they say....
  20. Hate to say it, but that, like many other of the iPhone design rumors, is sounding pretty far fetched, imo. Edit: projector beams, and all...
  21. That makes sense. I'm just glad to see a big money contract... as anything that keeps funds rolling in can only help the continued Network Vision upgrade.
  22. Sprint earns $2 Billion dollar contract with the Western States Contracting Alliance -Business Wire http://money.msn.com/business-news/article.aspx?feed=BW&date=20120501&id=15053244 Not exactly sure what this is, but it sounds lucrative.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Leaked EVO 4G LTE boot animation? Its definitely similar to that on the EVO 3D. http://www.goodandev...evo-4g-lte.html Note the shout out to S4GRU in the article, too.
