  1. Not to be a jerk, but where are you getting these ideas? Sprint has said in numerous instances that they will no longer promote 4G WiMax and are moving to 4G LTE. They have said that future PHONES will support 4G LTE.
  2. sounds interesting.. but the link is not working for me. (i think thats supposed to be a link, anyway.) EDIT: this post can be deleted.. the OP has been changed/updated.
  3. I agree.. I wonder if they are concerned that once it gets loaded down with app's the performance will be so degraded nobody will like it anymore.. even at that price. I'm hoping that the rumored specs and price on the Nexus tab are true... would be a steal.
  4. Beautiful shots, man. Love that drum! Thanks for sharing!
  5. Have you tried a Factory Data Reset? Just a thought/suggestion... sometimes something simple can make the device feel like new again. At least for a while.
  6. This is not directly related to Sprint, but I thought it was a great Add... a Virgin Mobile add. Its pretty widespread now. Sprints pre-paid division has a great commercial here. http://www.youtube.c...re=results_main
  7. Saving over $50 a month is a great deal. Even if you will not get the 4G LTE benefits of Sprint's new network, you will still get to take advantage of the many other improvements Sprint's Network Vision includes. Sprint's prepaid (Virgin) is looking to have even more benefits then before.
  8. Thats awesome! Thanks. I look forward to these. Just a suggestion, but maybe color code the towers... one color could indicate towers that are NV complete, and another tower indicate the "other" towers.
  9. I think carriers should make both options available. However, I'd prefer to pay a little more up front and reduce the recurring monthly fees.
  10. I agree, Duffman, and I think the PlayBook looks good. However, what do you think about the rumored Nexus tablet that is supposed to come out this summer? Its supposed to be in the $150-$250 range. Might make for a great first tablet for me. I'm anxious to see/hear more about the Nexus tab.
  11. Right, Those are some of the features. But, I remember somewhere along the line that Steve Job's deemed 300ppi as the magic number where, according to him, the eye cannon detect the impurities, or something along those lines. So when I see a sub-300ppi screen being branded as a Retina Display, it raises question, in my mind. And, that's assuming any of the claims were true to begin with. (I dont doubt the at screen looks good, just wondering if Apples definition of Retina Display changes to suit their marketing needs.)
  12. My question is, what is a "Retina Display?" And, has it simply become a marketing term Apple is using only to sell more product? Also, What will they call the "new iPad" when its not new anymore?
  13. Looking good! However, this is nothing compared to what NV should bring!
  14. Sounds good... Thanks.. Voxer-type apps definitely have some delay
  15. That sounds like the route to go to me, good idea.
  16. Probably wont happen, but it would be sweet if this upcoming HTC (EVO successor) had a kickstand.. I really liked the kickstand on my EVO.. the one on the Photon was even better.
  17. If you do go down the iPhone road.. Id just wait for the next one, Josh. Hopefully it will at least have a bigger screen. Either way... I agree, this thing is pretty cool.
  18. This is pretty interesting stuff. However, the map in Phoenix is still showing all kinds of upgrades scheduled.
  19. This is a pretty sweet deal! Im wondering, how does/will the performance of this compare to apps like Voxer?
  20. Federal-Univ Serv Assess Non-LD$2.93 Arizona State-911 Surcharge$0.60 Arizona State-Tele Sales Surcharge$5.15 Maricopa County-Tele Sales Surcharge$0.53 Phoenix City-Tele Sales Surcharge$3.65 Administrative Charge$4.50 Regulatory Charge$1.20 -------------- $18.56 Arizona State-Other taxes/fees$0.03 -------------- $0.03 This is for 3 lines.. so, about 6 bucks and change per line. Total bill for all 3 lines with taxes/fees and insurance is $181.
  21. are you sure you're roaming on GSM?? I would bet, assuming you haven't done anything funky with your new phone, you are roaming on CDMA... in which case.. you have nothing to worry about (if its not too excessive).
