Anyone else having issues with WiFi calling? I have an S10 5G and keep getting an enablement error. Customer service and tech support have been an utter waste of time.

I've done factory data reset, profile update, PRL update, deactivated the device from my account and reactivated.

My S10 5G is working just fine with Wifi calling. Just made a call on it just to be sure. Might be your device.

Thanks for testing. It was working previously and has stopped.

That concerns me. I hope mine does not stop. What carrier?

Sprint. Worked for roughly 10 days and stopped over the Holiday weekend.

No one in care or tech support has been of help either. Sucks because I get terrible signal in my place and need it.

What device did you have before the S10 5G?

Did you have better signal with the pixel?

No, not really. Both phones constantly flip between 3G and LTE 26 at my place with 1 bar or less. A lot of the time the phone just reads emergency calls only. You'd think in 2019 I'd get signal inside my place in Vegas

Have you ever tried a magic box?

Call executive services, have them remove wifi calling from your phone and then add it back.

Then try some of the dialer codes to refresh your Network.

This happened to me over a year ago and they did something like that and eventually fixed it.

Well unless there are big issues in Milwaukee today.. My S10 has gone launch device mobile data dead. 3G only. Tried resetting programming info and same result.

Ouch, start harrasing executive services for a replacement!

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally. Yes Night Mode included.

You can also tap on your Wi-Fi network to display a QR code for sharing with another S10 user.

QR scanner is now in quick toggle settings.

I would assume another one will be coming within a few weeks since this is just June.

510MB is definately more than just security.f1713a35443c0b5241fefbfb8da0ba00.jpg

    • Your referring to the $25.00 a month Infinite Unlimited plan?  I don't see any other plans on there even cheaper than that on their website.  I was looking at the Motorola 2023 Edge fwiw as well for $10.00 a month.
    • A heavy n41 overlay as an acquisition condition would be a win for customers, and eventually a win for T-Mobile as that might be enough to preclude VZW/AT&T adding C-Band for FWA due to spreading the market too thinly (which means T-Mobile would just have local WISPs/wireline ISPs as competition). USCC spacing (which is likely for contiguous 700 MHz LTE coverage in rural areas) isn't going to be enough for contiguous n41 anyway, and I doubt they'll densify enough to get there.
    • Boost Infinite with a rainbow SIM (you can get it SIM-only) is the cheapest way, at $25/mo, to my knowledge; the cheaper Boost Mobile plans don't run on Dish native. Check Phonescoop for n70 support on a given phone; the Moto G 5G from last year may be the cheapest unlocked phone with n70 though data speeds aren't as good as something with an X70 or better modem.
    • Continuing the USCC discussion, if T-Mobile does a full equipment swap at all of USCC's sites, which they probably will for vendor consistency, and if they include 2.5 on all of those sites, which they probably will as they definitely have economies of scale on the base stations, that'll represent a massive capacity increase in those areas over what USCC had, and maybe a coverage increase since n71 will get deployed everywhere and B71 will get deployed any time T-Mobile has at least 25x25, and maybe where they have 20x20. Assuming this deal goes through (I'm betting it does), I figure I'll see contiguous coverage in the area of southern IL where I was attempting to roam on USCC the last time I was there, though it might be late next year before that switchover happens.
    • Forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I got to visit these small cells myself! They're spread around Grant park and the surrounding areas, but unfortunately none of the mmwave cells made it outside of the parks along the lake into the rest of downtown. I did spot some n41 small cells around downtown, but they seemed to be older deployments limited to 100mhz and performed poorly.
