Meanwhile we're on track for one of the warmest Decembers on record here in Louisville, KY. This is the first year I ever remember wearing shorts on Christmas and having the windows in the house open. I want my snow!!!

Agreed, my lawn/landscaping service is still mowing with no signs of slowing down unless we start getting some hard freezes. I still have a back log on landscaping contracts that can't get done due to the warm spring like weather.

The storm here ended up being sleet early on, then freezing rain, then everything froze over and turned into an ice mess and then it turned to rain and created a horrible slush mess and caused roads to flood in many spots due to ice dammed sewers. Now all the creeks and rivers are at capacity or slightly over. One more storm and we'll have a alot of flooding going on.

I honestly could do without snow for the rest of my life. I hate the cold so much. I just got my power back after not having it for 33 hours. Central Illinois didn't fare to well with the Ice and High winds. Hope to move to South Carolina within the next 2 years. Only Two more winters. Hopefully.

I especially liked how people were posting the scene in the movie of the wave hitting the Statue of Liberty during Hurricane Sandy as if that is what actually happened in the harbor during the storm.  :wall:
