Cleveland shows spark along the North coast from lorain county to Eastern Cuyahoga..  Does this mean that they actually have activated 800mhz LTE (That is part of spark, correct?)

Spark on the map only indicates Band 41.

B26 LTE 800 is shown on the map as increased LTE range, while b41 LTE 2600 is shown as spark because of its higher throughput.

Admittedly I never trust coverage maps much, but this has to be the most insanely over-optimistic coverage map I've ever seen, at least for coverage in west LA. It borders on false advertising (if it weren't for that wonderful disclaimer) - If people get Sprint expecting the coverage shown on the map they will be disappointed. I mean it shows best Turbo Spark coverage in tons of areas that have zero LTE right now. This map looks to me like it's what service will look like when all towers are broadcasting LTE 800, LTE 1900, and LTE 2600 - which is obviously not the current situation. The same in the Bay Area. I'm not trying to anti-Sprint rant, but what do you all think? Compared to what you see in your communities does this match up with what you're seeing?

If you are in ntelos land then you wont get sprint lte at least not for now.

Admittedly I never trust coverage maps much, but this has to be the most insanely over-optimistic coverage map I've ever seen, at least for coverage in west LA. The central Maryland/Baltimore market is covered in Yellow "Spark" coverage on the maps, but most I get is band 26 on most of the interstate, which is fine for even streaming videos (3-4Mbps), but definitely not Spark speeds. All of our band 41 sites are old CLEAR sites (Baltimore was the first CLEAR market with WiMax), so hopefully when the 8T8R antennas are installed, it will improve...plus adding many more band 41 sites. Right now they are pretty sparse around Baltimore. But solid yellow spark coverage on the maps.

Shows my area (zip 98034) bathed in bright yellow, but b41 signals are pretty rare at this point.

I learned to never trust the sprint maps long ago when I got my M7 and saw my whole area with 4G LTE coverage when none existed in the real world....that eventually led me here (and to Sensorly)...and while for a while I considered a move to the dark side (or the magenta one if you will), seeing my closest tower FINALLY putting out LTE, I'm sticking around to see where it goes.

Clear sites are terrible, on off-peak hours I can maybe get around 20Mbps on B41. Average speeds during the day range from 3-10Mbps with basically a 0 upload. Definitely need some new backhaul I think.

I thought iPhone 6 was able to use Spark too??  If you chose the iPhone 6 as your device, it doesn't show any yellow...just purple and orange?

It is Spark enabled. The coverage map is messed up. This isn't the first time they forgot to include certain coverage with certain phones.

Guys I know you are heavily dissapointed. We just became a spark city yesterday in Denver Colorado. I've watched the progress for a year and a half. We weren't even 3g network vision accepted a year ago...  On the south Side of Denver, major thoroughfare I stay on 2500 Lte which is either Clearwire's band 41 or Sprints 85tr band 41. As I move between towers, coverage slips between them effortlessly. We are getting speeds around 35 to 50 on the Clearwire and 8t84 sites, and 5 on the low side to around an average of 12 on the other 2 Band 25 and 26 sites. We still have poor coverage in some areas, but overall, when this comes to your area, you will love it. If you aren't a premier sponsor, I highly recommend it. It gave me hope throughout the entire process. I enjoyed tracking and reporting all of our progress for the past year.... Best Wishes. Santa
