  1. My job has moved me from downtown Cleveland out to Bratenahl. I essentially get no coverage in my building at all for data and I'm lucky to be able to get a text or make a call. our parking lot is right on the lake. Any ideas as far as coverage? My coworkers with V or T get data and cell reception in the building. Sigh.
  2. And as I read this post it seems as though speed has drastically gotten worse in downtown Cleveland...even before downtown is crowded. Been about a month since I've been able to surf with fast speeds and pulled this just now. iPhone6plus Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Is Sprint done with our market?
  4. Could not pull LTE in the parking lot at Spruce School and the speed was NOTHING with 3G. Right behind Spruce school (south of the school) is 480. This neighborhood is just a black hole for Sprint and not sure why, considering 480 is just south of us, they don't fix it. Sigh...
  5. I thought iPhone 6 was able to use Spark too?? If you chose the iPhone 6 as your device, it doesn't show any yellow...just purple and orange?
  6. Odd thing here...I picked iphone 6 plus as my device and it did not show any Spark capability on the map, just LTE and 3G? Now I'm REALLY confused!!
  7. I did call Sprint yesterday and was told that there is a ticket created, but then she said there were outages, but there was a ticket, but there were outages in the area, but there was a ticket created for the outage AND for coverage issues. Sigh...so I guess they know about the issue since there is a ticket open, but if it's the ticket I opened a year and half ago they aren't very concerned about closing that ticket.
  8. Yeah, must be something about my 'hood. Once I hit Lorain and go east (towards the mall) the signal gets better and the data rolls faster. going west it stays horrible. I can't believe they wouldn't want better signal and speed at the intersection of Stearns and Lorain. I was told (before they started to build up and activate the new network) that my house was "just outside the range of 3 different towers" and "after we get our new network up and running your neighborhood will be great". Ummmm...ain't so great. Walked around my block and didn't connect to LTE but once, and when I ran a speedtest it failed and the LTE icon was gone once the test was done. Wonder if they would/could "tweak" the towers to make them better, faster, stronger in my area? I know ATT did that a few years ago when I complained about a bad signal in my area. Or maybe I'm banished to live in a black hole of technology forever??
  9. Proof. In my driveway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. It is set to connect to LTE, but in my neighborhood it does not....sigh
  11. North Olmsted primarily...western end. That's my home area and it's not much better than my 4S.
  12. FINALLY got a 4G phone...iphone 6...but wondering why it never says LTE or 4G around my neighborhood when the Sprint map clearly shows that it is available? Hmmmmm....interesting....
  13. You aren't just whistling dixie!!!!
  14. Seems as though they've really slowed down the process in the area...unless it's just that no one is posting in this thread anymore?? I know in North Olmsted, the speeds by the mall are pretty fast. Not sure if they've done anything else though.
  15. Johnny Football is a superstar like Sprint is a 4g carrier....not here, not yet!!
  16. It's funny how this thread just dies every once in a while. I try to revive it so the people who are WAAAY smarter than me can help enlighten me on what is going on. My contract is up and I'm just waiting on the new iPhone and I want to know if Sprint will be a viable carrier or not once I make my decision in September. Thanks all!
  17. So does anyone know if they have done any more work in the north olmsted area??
  18. I got a text this morning telling me about the new network...not that that means much as we've seen before!!
  19. Anyone able to update/verify that downtown speeds are still 4G-like? thanks.
  20. i thought that I read that we were in a unique situation here in the Cleveland market because of our proximity to Canada and the use of all the bands?
  21. Thanks for the lessons guys! I love reviving this post every now and again...I really learn a lot from you all! Appreciated!!
  22. That means no iPhone huh? Unless by some miracle the new 6 is tri-band (which it probably won't be....)
  23. so when us "cheapskates" all get new phones will we encounter the same issue??
  24. NiteSnow, i know my phone doesn't have LTE but if they have LTE pretty damn fast i'm hoping that 3G speeds would be usuable too??
  25. Update: still the same here at 9th and Lakeside. Fast network at 7am and mostly unusable after 9am...and all of this is for 3G (iPhone 4S...not going to pay for a 4G phone until I'm sure I will stick with them and that the network works sufficiently).
