If I pre orderd in store by adding a line, am I supposed to get a receipt still? All I got sent home with was my copy of the new pay agreement I had to sign. I hope I didn't get  screwed out of a phone by a novice rep. He did say I was the first pre order he did

Sorry to hear that you had issues with the store jamisonshaw.  From what I have read, it seems that the 6+ was not shipped (dang it).  Hopefully they will start shipping very soon.

Like the performance numbers that I am seeing.  Makes me want to get my hands on the new phone ASAP!!!

Im sitting at O'Hare airport here in Chicago with a trailer full of 6+, they being shipped to Memphis. Im escorting them down, Apple paying big money for these escorts.

I'm sorry but yes this is my first time to pre order a phone. So yes I am in fact a novice customer as far as this goes, but your statement isn't helping me with anything or anyone else...

I will ask again, was I supposed to have been sent home with a receipt or not? I have the installment agreement made for a phone on my plan, but that was all I left the store with.

Sounds like an Internet tough guy.

As a customer you always demand a receipt or confirmation number. :wall:   It doesn't matter that this is your first time preordering a phone.

Hence, novice customer.  :ty:

Considering there was no money exchange thanks to the I4L plan, I assumed the installment agreement was it and if there was anything else I needed, it was his job to make sure I received it. Especially when the manager is beside him walking him through all the steps.

Technically money did exchange hands, you took on about $500 in debt over 24 months; in exchange for an amazing device.

I did the same, rather online.

Technically an agreement was made for a future exchange on money

Regardless, you should get a receipt or a email confirmation just to be sure.

So I went there to pick up my device and their system is down... Awesome.. I don't live in town so I guess I'm gonna do some window shopping for a bit.

What else will crash due to the new iPhone?  Lets look at the timeline:

Apple site during announcement on 9/9

Apple, Sprint and other wireless carrier websites during preorder on 9/12

Now order systems and iCloud 9/19

Internet as a whole in the future?

So there is 45.9 usable out of 64?

Went to the Sprint store in town here, they said they have all models in all colors. Surprisingly the store was empty. I just have to go put myself as an authorized user on my Dad's account and I'll get the phone later this afternoon. Anyone know if they still do the free activation credit union thing?

I ALMOST got an iPhone 6 today but the corporate store tried to force me off my EPRP plan, then after they were magically able to keep that plan after I insisted they could they tried to force me into TEP and said it was store policy. The guy also got pissy when I started asking questions and glanced over at the computer screen. I said F it and left.

I'm gonna try the OTHER corporate store that my mothers friend whose a Sprint training rep suggested I try. (She and her coworkers are feeling the heat of the new CEO big time BTW) Or I'll just order online.

Oh... I see above. Cool. Can I just use that once? I have a 20% petsmart discount already.

Well, B26 is awesome but this is my first experience with it so far so I can't say much about how it compares with other devices.

    • Your referring to the $25.00 a month Infinite Unlimited plan?  I don't see any other plans on there even cheaper than that on their website.  I was looking at the Motorola 2023 Edge fwiw as well for $10.00 a month.
    • A heavy n41 overlay as an acquisition condition would be a win for customers, and eventually a win for T-Mobile as that might be enough to preclude VZW/AT&T adding C-Band for FWA due to spreading the market too thinly (which means T-Mobile would just have local WISPs/wireline ISPs as competition). USCC spacing (which is likely for contiguous 700 MHz LTE coverage in rural areas) isn't going to be enough for contiguous n41 anyway, and I doubt they'll densify enough to get there.
    • Boost Infinite with a rainbow SIM (you can get it SIM-only) is the cheapest way, at $25/mo, to my knowledge; the cheaper Boost Mobile plans don't run on Dish native. Check Phonescoop for n70 support on a given phone; the Moto G 5G from last year may be the cheapest unlocked phone with n70 though data speeds aren't as good as something with an X70 or better modem.
    • Continuing the USCC discussion, if T-Mobile does a full equipment swap at all of USCC's sites, which they probably will for vendor consistency, and if they include 2.5 on all of those sites, which they probably will as they definitely have economies of scale on the base stations, that'll represent a massive capacity increase in those areas over what USCC had, and maybe a coverage increase since n71 will get deployed everywhere and B71 will get deployed any time T-Mobile has at least 25x25, and maybe where they have 20x20. Assuming this deal goes through (I'm betting it does), I figure I'll see contiguous coverage in the area of southern IL where I was attempting to roam on USCC the last time I was there, though it might be late next year before that switchover happens.
    • Forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I got to visit these small cells myself! They're spread around Grant park and the surrounding areas, but unfortunately none of the mmwave cells made it outside of the parks along the lake into the rest of downtown. I did spot some n41 small cells around downtown, but they seemed to be older deployments limited to 100mhz and performed poorly.
