Tengen31
True but this was likely line of sight. Sprints upload CA breaks down fast when foliage and buildings are introduced.Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYeah I noticed. That's why it should be aggregated with B25 long time away. Sprint is Still the only one that doesn't aggregated all their bands. 25+41 being more important.Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

I was told you can do it with the MSL code but I can't see how.Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk
Terrell352
You can do it with the MSL code but it has never worked. For example before 2XCA had a toggle in the MSL menu it was already activated. Also I wonder what Sprint is planning on doing to band 25 since the setting to have it use TM9 is there but inacvtiveSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Terrell352
What is tm9 anyway?Sent from my SM-G965U1 using TapatalkTransmission mode 9 reduces interference between towers and helps keep SNR more stable. Sprint is the only carrier I have seen using this. For now it’s used only on B41. For FDD LTE carriers use TM3 and TM4 depending on signal. I have also seen B41 using TM7Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Paynefanbro
Verizon’s 5G service will cost $10 extra, launches in Chicago and Minneapolis on April 11th Quote The initial rollout of 5G for Chicago and Minneapolis will also be limited. In Chicago, Verizon says that it’ll be concentrating service on The Loop (especially near landmarks like Union Station, Millennium Park, and the Willis Tower) as well as in the Gold Coast, River North, and Old Town areas. Verizon’s store on “the Magnificent Mile” will also offer 5G service. Minneapolis will see a similar concentration, focused on the Downtown West, Downtown East, and Elliot Park areas of the city, with a focus on landmarks like the Minneapolis Convention Center as well as the Target Center and U.S. Bank Stadium sports venues, along with the Verizon store in the Mall of America. Looks like mmWave isn't that easy to deploy on a wide scale... 😬 Quote Verizon also announced that its next-gen mobile service will cost $10 more per month on top of its existing three unlimited plans. The new prices will now start at $85 per month for the base Go Unlimited plan for a single line (which is always subject to throttling and only offers slow hot spot speeds and 480p video); $95 per month for the Beyond Unlimited (22GB of unthrottled LTE, 15GB of LTE hot spot, and 720p video); and $105 for the Above Unlimited plan (75GB of LTE before throttling, 20GB of LTE hot spot, 720p video, and a few other perks). Alongside that will be the carrier’s first 5G smartphone: the Moto Z3’s long-promised 5G Moto Mod, which is set to cost $349.99 at retail. And it's expensive. Double yikes. tyroned3222
Screw Verizon and their prices. And if no merger .. sprint will do the exact same thing.. sprint may not add 5G as a add on to make it look better, but prices across the board are set to go up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

tyroned3222
Still cheaper than Verizon or AT&T.Under current promotional offerings yes, but as quoted by the rep: “once the promotional period is over the plan price would fall in line with what about what everyone else is charging “. nexgencpu
Its pretty amazing how much further along Sprint 5G is vs the competition. Especially when you realize the most powerful wireless company's attempt at this deployment is particularly sad. This 5G deployment has more drama than a Telemundo soap opera.

derrph
Yes the prices are kinda steep but best believe Verizon is going to have a very good 5G network. I truly Believe that if Sprint had a stronger network, they’d charge the same but they are in no position to do so. When you have a good product, people don’t really have a issue with paying for it. Prices are going up across the the board periodt with 5G. New plans will be introduced with a higher price. Let’s just hope, that we don’t need to Change plans for 5G access and they will keep offering an add on to current plans and it’s not an initial thing until its coverage is more widespread Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYup, and after that just optimization.. maybe a a few towers/small cells where needed and it should be a robust experience costing far less than what the competitors are doing. If any of you watched the hearing yesterday. Marcelo told the entire panel: “ we are financially, ok now. “.
