Network Vision/LTE - San Diego Market

When will we get any LTE love in El Cajon? Are there any LTE towers out here? There's been a lot of work going on regarding service and towers out here in the past month. Sometimes I have service, and sometimes I have not one bar on my iphone5. That a good thing?

I did some mapping at the 805 and Palm Ave. today. The South Bay is starting to look good.

Scary thing is this is just the tip of the iceberg. Wait 'til Sprint completes its 4G LTE deployment. It'll be magnificent.

I drove all over Imperial Beach and on the 805 yesterday to try to find 4G but couldnt :/ but this morning I have noticed faster 3G speeds in Eastlake. I usually get .05-.15mps on speed tests on average but this morning im getting .5-.7mps.

The strongest point of LTE in IB is on Palm Ave between 16th Street (Rally's Burger) and 13th Street (Carls Jr).

Screenshot is Sprint 4G LTE deployment a tad over a month in San Diego County. Still a lot more to be done but so much to look forward in the coming months. In my opinion this is very impressive in just that short amount of time that this much has been activated at one point or another. I'm not an expert, but in my opinion at the current rate, provided there are no delays, I think a majority amount of the populated parts of the county will be covered in 6-9 months.

i was up and down palm avenue in IB and all over that area delivering pizzas for 4 hours tonight and my EVO 3D didnt pick up any 4g :( I think my phones allergic to 4g

I could be wrong, but I believe the EVO 3D is a 4G WiMax device, not a 4G LTE device. That's why you're not getting 4G LTE on that particular phone. Unfortunately there are are only 1 or 2 WiMax "protection" sites in the county, nothing widespread unlike LA & Orange Counties.

I can help map East County if someone notices LTE and cant update Sensorly, just let me know.
