well Signal quality just went belly up where I live. before this week I was getting 4G and good signal on voice. now it is dismal. there are sometimes where I show no signal at all. I roam more often than not now at home.

I connect to 3 different towers, Wilkinson, Emporia, and I70 between Knightstown and Greenfield at the rest stop. Also the tower at wilkinson says that it is 4G in the interactive maps and it most definitely is not. I drove through Wilkinson eariler in the week and even rebooted my phone to try to get 4g signal and nothing. Strong 3g but No 4G. the only 4G tower I connect to is the I70 Tower.

I live on the Madison, Henry, Hancock county lines. right where they all intersect.

Any Ideas?

Just got off the phone with Sprint. they are working on towers in my area and that is the cause for the issue.

The electricians are done at this site.

The crew that bolted down the new cabinets, built the new platform and installed the new panels/RRU anticipates being finished tomorrow.

Next up will be the "integration" crew. No time frame was given for when they would arrive. I am guessing that they will do something with this

Still Broke. apparently that ticket (1002334) is closed and was a voice issue. now Ticket 77517 has been opened due to a provisioning issue.

tower IN03UB104 is having some serious issues

Yea I worked the game last night so we get to watch it as long as no one needs a medic. That games was over before it got started. Lol

Any idea when Bloomington will be official?

Official dates are just machinations of Sprint marketing. Crews on the ground will just keep deploying. One day, Sprint marketing people will decide enough coverage has been achieved to announce the market. And work will still continue. Official announcements have no impact on the deployment, there is the same amount of coverage before the announcement as the day after.

So can I interpret that to mean the spotiness we have now will continue?

No, it would be the exact opposite. The sportiness will get less each and every week.

Something is going on in Pendleton with Sprint. Went through today and had zero signal. Was roaming throughout the entire city until I got close to the interstate. Anyone have any insight?

    • I haven't had the opportunity to test or map Dish here in NYC but they have tons of sites. I'm fairly certain that at this point they have contiguous coverage across the city, and in some places they likely have better coverage than the incumbents. I still think their weird split branding and lack of advertising is what's killing them, not the network.  I have no idea what they were thinking by launching a sub-brand for people to beta test their network and then another sub-brand specifically for postpaid service, and not even with the guarantee that it uses their network. They need to get rid of everything and start with a clean slate.
    • Drove the entire 101 out on the Olympic Peninsula over the weekend and was able to map a number of TMO sites which weren't previously mapped. Also, did it in my Mach E (electric car). The Tesla Superchargers (especially the one in Forks, WA) made the whole trip SUPER easy.
    • Ok so I signed up for service through Boost Infinite, I ended up getting the Motorola Razr got it today.  They sent the rainbow SIM 2.0 card.  Activation was a breeze, connected to Dish's native network (n70 and n71), took the phone out and... IMPRESSED with their network!  Getting 200 to 300Mbps over n70 and around 50 to 60 on n71 no coverage drops!  Gosh I hope Dish can get it together, VoNR was crystal clear as well.  Paying $25.00 a month for the Infinite plan and $10.00 for the Moto Razr.  Amazing deal... will do more testing this evening when I get more time.  But so far from what I'm seeing Dish needs to stay in the fight. Just rebrand off of damn Boost and call it Dish Wireless...
    • I assume that any agreement is not perpetual and has an end date. - Trip
    • I think it is likely that T-Mobile will be forced to honor any existing US cellular roaming agreements in those areas as a condition of them taking over the spectrum.  In that case, there would be no improvement of service unless T-Mobile improves the service offering in those areas.
