Network Vision/LTE - Cincinnati Market

Recommended Posts

I like the M7, it does have an issue though, it's tough to keep it focused when taking a pic of the LCD HD screen on my flatscreens.....it gets real bluish in color and bright, washes out the pic sometimes unless I tap focus and click to take the pic real fast....

Meh, you got me there. Your neighbors are from Kentucky though.

Yes... and no Ohio NFL team is worth bragging about. I mean, WHODEY!

I noticed a crew at the tower on Mt. Moriah Dr. off 125 yesterday.  It looked like they were adding additional antennas to the site.  This location has been broadcasting LTE for awhile now and had 3 antennas but now it has 6.  Any ideas why they added the additional antennas to this site.  The area is not all that dense population wise and most of the housing that this tower is able to broadcast to is at the distance limits from what I remember when this tower went live and did some mapping on sensorly.  I can think of a bunch of other locations that would benefit from additional antennas and this site is not one of them.

Take some pictures and maybe we can see what they did.

As an IU grad COZ I love that comment!! I can start a war here but I dont think baseball is a sport. It's barely an activity. Only 2 of the 18 players on both teams even move.

Saw some climbers on the tower near Grooms road and 275. Believe that is a Sprint tower but didn't have time to look. Anyone know for sure?

As far as I can tell it is not a Sprint tower.

Yeah as Kdupes said. I don't think that is a Sprint tower. I work very close to that tower and with SignalCheck Pro. I'm connecting to other towers in the area, but not the one on Grooms. I would Upload a screen shot, but I don't know how to get GCI data to pull on my app.

Inside my house, I am getting a weird indicator from SignalCheck Pro...

Often the 1x 800 indicator reads between -60 to -40dbm.  However, sometimes I see #?*! for the signal level.  I am assuming it is because it's stronger than -40dbm.  I live about .2miles from the tower, and the panel appears to be aimed in my general direction.

I have attached a screenshot of the indicator, top left.

Anyone tell me what this means, for sure?

That's happened to me before, I assumed I was close to the tower and it doesn't read less than -40 dbms

OK Members... what happens if the GCI info on any tower visited/driving through doesn't appear. Does that mean a few settings on my app aren't correct or are the towers not giving the information needed to identify the tower connected to?

Hope you guys can answer as I would love to post screen shots but with the correct information

Took a gamble with sprint, renewing my 2yr, and I think I may of been right, anyway, look at the beautiful sky here on the,Westside !!ajejudy3.jpg

I do a lot of video uploading to sites like YouTube etc, I would love to see the day where I have consistent UL speeds with sprint of 5 megs or above, heck 5 would be better than what I get with roadrunner broadband with time Warner...get like 3 with them but the download speeds are sweet !

Make sure you have Show Hidden Data checked in the Display settings. I'm not sure which phones can't report GCI though.
