Here's my Sprint 3G speed test in Houston. For 3G service, this is the best latency I've ever seen. I'm sure I could get up to 3mbps download if I really tried. Just getting you guys excited here haha

For what its worth, spotted Tower Workers going up the tower on US 92 and I-95 (behind the waffle house in Daytona Beach) this morning around 11 AM. Always had great 3G speeds in this vicinity. Nice to see 4G tweaks still underway.

That's pretty much exactly what I get. Or roaming at my house 3 miles away from downtown. Sprint should be paying you to use their service.

HAha right. AT this point I think so. It sucks because I think all the LTE upgrades have been done in my area and I still drop calls every single time I make one practically.?...I guess I'll be contacting sprint and mention that I want a AIRRAVE.

Yeah it was slow in this forum for a few days. I lean on all of you for advice, since I'm still on a 3G only device :) I can say from a 3G perspective only, it has been stagnant the past couple of weeks around Orlando.

I'm just extremely excited about Samsung's Sept 5th event and Apple's Sept 10th event. Will have the opportunity to select a new phone and make a decision on carriers. So I'll be checking in every day to get everyone's latest opinion on the LTE status!

Will the Clearwire towers be upgraded to Sprint LTE? There were workers on the tower at Alafaya and Research Pkwy today. They magically disappeared with first crack of lightning though... I wonder why... LOL! I dont envy them their job at all!

At the very least, it seems quite likely that if you're anywhere close to a tower you'll eventually enjoy 2600 LTE, which benefits everyone since it'll provide that network offload that Sprint tried to achieve with WiMax in the first place.

Remember, LTE is not used for calls. These are still been handled by the 3g side. So if the towers by you still have the legacy stuff you will see no changes for voice.

Welcome to Orlando. Osceola Regional has several locations. We are not a launched market yet but should be pretty soon. There are some areas where LTE has a -65 signal... enjoy your vacay.
