UCFKnight
Some speed tests from last night I'm exactly just a few feet from the lte coverage area on Aloma, a bit west of SR436. Assuming they must be still testing as I'm not getting a hit. Sensorly appears to be only pulling in 3G points as well.

Yesterday I was in Cocoa driving/walking all along areas with LTE and my phone just didn't seem to want to connect. When I toggled airplane mode a few times it'd briefly connect to LTE but then I'd go in other areas where it just wouldn't connect... I was with my GF, who has an iPhone 5, and she was on LTE practically the whole time.

I was searching for it using the LTE Discover App, which automatically toggles airplane mode and then switches off to search for LTE. I went out later and was well within the coverage area. Searched, and got nothing.

You shouldn't have to toggle airplane mode with the latest HTC update my phone now connects to sites within seconds of being within range. Are you rooted? If so are you s off or s on? I heard that, but currently I am not even complaining to Sprint simply because my regular service area hasn't officially received LTE. That said, when I was in Cocoa IIRC that area is launched with LTE and I was still having trouble connecting... It seems like I connected for a moment but then lost it in an area where I should of had a decent LTE signal. I am rooted, S-OFF running the latest MeanBean rom. Same here are you running the latest firmware that was released with the Jb update? When I upgraded my firmware I connected to sites a lot easier. I haven't toggled since. tybo31316
I can't call it then. I haven't personally compared my phone to another phone in connectivity. I know in the beginning the evo was horrible at picking up signal. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
kmshadoze
Wow, checked out Sensorly for the first time in a few days, there is a LOT more LTE coverage. Almost all of Ovideo is covered, its spreading into Altamonte Springs as well, and some parts of Sanford! Awesome words guys! Keep mapping when you can, once it comes to my neck of the woods imma walk/ride bike all around town to map as much as I can.
Towerdragon
sprint needs to bring the group down from Chicago to Orlando. Chicago is close to being 100% wishful thinking I know super excited to see orlando starting to fill out in the corners now it just need to move a tiny bit closer. Hoping when it gets in more areas I'll be able to better decide if there may be something wrong with my phone.

samer21
I've been getting lots of 4g lately. The spread is nice. Also 3g speeds have been very good. Around 1.5-2.1mbps. Also did more speed tests in Avalon tower and the best I got was 24.5mbps down and 8.9mbps up. Can't wait for the dean rd. And curry ford rd. Tower to get turned on. I'll be set then. Also people who are reporting the Avalon tower was down is not correct I haven't been to that area and not gotten lte there. I'm there a lot. XXavierXX
Hey guys I caught LTE outside of the UCF Library today 1/28/2013, and it needs to get on Sensorly. If anybody is ever around the center area of UCF campus, keep your Sensorly Maps running!!!

My phone has yet to see any LTE in Orlando, would be nice to "pop" that cherry.
XXavierXX
Also, I just left campus, walking up Alafaya to work right now and I've maintained 1-2 bars on LTE so far, but speed tests are ranging no more than 2mbps, so there's still speed improvements that need to be made. I'll post a new speed test once I'm over 13mbps again.
XXavierXX
UPDATE: This is the best speed test I was able to get so far. Took it at the southwestern sidewalk corner of the intersection of Alafaya & McCulloch. I maintained an LTE signal my whole way up until I got into work, and I'm back on 3G. Looks like my LTE signal isn't strong enough to function indoors just yet. I can't upload the image right now for some reason, but my best download speed was 14.37mbps download and 0.69mbps upload, with all other tests about 1.0mbps-6mbps. Will edit this post with that screenshot as soon as I get off work tonight. Edited January 28, 2013 by XXavierXX
