Looking forward to LTE when I'm back there in July. Hope more sites go live around the strip. Early May was definitely a disappointment as I wasn't able to use any data anywhere. well not meaningfully.

Same experience here, I ended up forcing to 1x only for data which worked pretty good on 800smr. By the time I go back maybe 6g will be rolled out.

The one that I am connected to is apparently far enough out that it hits the In N Out as well.

Finally 4G LTE on Galaxy Note II in Vegas. At 'Charleston Neighborhood Preserve' (off Torey Pines and Hyde Ave) 24.7 Mbps dwn and 9 Mbps up.  Holy crap!  Speeds on 3G at my home 4 miles away 1.5-2Mbps. Like going from dial-up to T1.  Sensorly map is spot on.  So excited didn't take Speed Test screen shot (I know, no pic, it didn't happen).  I'll use Sensorly app next time I'm up there.   Digi's pixs have me analyzing tower configs now.  Must get a life. lol  Great sight!  Keep up the good work.

Las Vegas is an Alcatel-Lucent vendor region. Best to go to my thread on Alcatel-Lucent equipment rather than Digis Ericsson one.

Possible new tower broadcasting LTE at the spaghetti bowl.  Signal check pro dings a second time on my daily commute now and sprints network enhancement map shows a tower near the the 95S to 15S interchange as having 2 data speed enhancements.

When I get back to Visalia I'll look into it.

I'm a very patient fellow, but it truly would be nice if Sprint/AlcaLu would start lighting up some LTE south of the 215.

Yahoo...looks like the Vivaldi Park tower got upgraded this past week; here are the photos; would the experts (Robert, AJ, Josh et al) weigh in and interpret these photos for me and others; the upgrades are at the top of the tower and at the moment there is NO LTE signal coming from it; lift is still there so I'll swing by tomorrow to see if work is continuing; also it may be waiting for backhaul as there is only one dish at the site

Alcatel-Lucent equipment--me thinks..4 PCS & 2 SMR per antenna; I still wonder about the backhaul for this upgrade; the dish appears to be for another carrier..

This is a pic I took BEFORE the upgrade..is Clearwire 1 rung below the Sprint upgraded equipment?  Would Sprint LTE and Wimax share the same tower?

Why not? Different tech, different company.

Yay! I'll mark it down on the permit map! Thanks for posting! I'll keep an eye out for city inspections to start soon.
