  1. I've been reporting eCSFB issues through eChat to Sprint for about a month now. My local market (Binghamton, NY) is generally B25 LTE complete, however triband phones cannot place or receive calls when connected to LTE. I've tested this on multiple phones, on multiple sites all around the area. I've provided them with site numbers, but all they come back with is that the upgrades are complete in my area and that they are sorry. We are not 1x800 accepted yet. Is 800 acceptance going to be what fixes these eCSFB issues? When I use my N5 in the Lehigh Valley market on 1x800 + LTE accepted sites, I can place and receive calls flawlessly when connected to LTE. So I know it's not the device. My local area has been like this since January - this means that pretty much every (triband) customer here hasn't been able to make or receive calls since then on the LTE sites. I find it hard to believe. Is it common that LTE accepted sites without 1x800 have these calling issues? Is a 1x800 acceptance really what will fix this eventually? (Not because it's 800, but because THEN the site will be fully upgraded?)
  2. I really expected LV to be totally done by now. I don't even think HD voice is working in Bethlehem when I'm there.
  3. I don't know what we'd do without signalcheck! Same stuff happening down here too. I think it would be cool if the upstate 800 acceptance covered Syracuse Albany and Binghamton all at the same time. It seems like we all have 800 functioning (I'm idling on it right now) but there have been zero formal acceptances so far.
  4. Confirmed as the water tower on base? Or perhaps picking it up from central Dover?
  5. Thanks, me too! Yeah, it looks like the water tower site on base hasn't even gotten NV yet. The Sand-WiFi overseas will hold him over for a few more months.
  6. This is glorious. My friend was stationed at Dover AFB and chose to deploy last month solely because he couldn't get LTE on base …such bad timing. Hopefully when he returns in October there is LTE800 for him to enjoy.
  7. And at the same time, as likely as any other day. What a blunder
  8. Another LTE site live in Endwell (Binghamton). Robinson Hill Road has a single sector site facing Binghamton Regional Airport that is now broadcasting B25 LTE. We've gotta be close to completion down here. Only two non-GMOs left that need NV upgrades.
  9. Doesn't seem to be any in the Carlisle or Harrisburg area that I saw on the highway today. Hungout at the fairgrounds for a few hours and it was strictly B25 indoors and out. So yeah, they're definitely moving North but not here quite yet.
  10. Yikes, I wonder if doing everything online would have produced better results. I tend to stay away from the stores unless absolutely necessary. It's disappointing walking in and knowing more than everyone in the store. (Ok, I'm not that cocky, but some of these people really shouldn't work in wireless)
  11. Is anyone here from the Carlisle, PA area? I'll be there all weekend for a car show and will report back any B26 sightings, unless it's already been discovered and I just missed it. Excited to see how good the completed Shentel market is.
  12. Excellent But, the Moto E might just as well be shipping with 4.4.2. The ad only states it will receive, eventually, an update to 4.4.3.
  13. Not doubting you, but what's your take on why the Nexus 5 should have it first?
  14. I don't see why that wouldn't work. They would deal with the ETF stuff, and you would submit for the $75 credit, it looks like. Two separate things. It's a great time to switch to Sprint, that's for sure! Story: My girlfriend ported over from Verizon a few months ago when they were doing the $100 gift card for new ports. I signed her up for that, and we waited. Then a few weeks later, the $200 port-in offer was available for her framily ID. So I signed her up for that, on the off-chance it would override the $100 card, figuring it wouldn't work at all. She ended up getting a $100 and a $200 card in the mail. Needless to say, she's one happy girl.
  15. Yup, you're right. 6/12/14 is the end date for the ETF promo now.
  16. Most people with single line plans DO get a discount by creating a 1-member framily. SERO members won't, but anyone else most likely would. It makes sense why they don't want hoards of existing Sprint customers converting their accounts to Framily. 1) Framily is meant as a way to refer new lines to Sprint 2) Customers locked into a contract would be liable for much less money to Sprint over the life of their contract. If Sprint already has people locked in for 2 years at a high rate, why would they want to get rid of that?
  17. The wait doesn't bother me too much. It'll be cool to see the ridiculous amounts of LTE800/2600 updates when they're ready. But thanks for getting a few "NV Sites Complete" map updates done despite the travel Robert. I was starting to miss those
  18. Sounds about right, same here. LTE is… different today. But, I just confirmed working HD voice and parked on 1x800 for over an hour @ my girlfriend's parent's house which is on the fringe of 1x1900. Things are looking up. Hope you get backhaul and LTE acceptance soon!
  19. I was just idling on 1x800 in Endwell (Binghamton area) today deep in an office where signal was lacking. Though it was trying to hold onto 1xRTT as much as it could, even when it was unusable for some reason.
  20. Awesome news. Hope something is coming. That'd be funny if they've been waiting to turn on the entire Upstate NY market at once. A whole bunch of green would show up! (Minus the hundreds of GMOs that haven't been graced with new antennas yet)
  21. https://promo.sprint.com/Registration/FramilyReferralLanding?ECID=MA:SMS:US:20140501:RAM:WKY:75REF:FRAM:vnty:refer4 Looks like this is replacing the "Sprint will pay your ETF" promo that ends today.
