  1. Did Sprint ever get faster at turning up MW backhaul then they were in the initial Chicago deployment? If they did the remaining sites and expansion should pick up pace. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  2. No, it's brief. Just a goofy bug since it doesn't seem to effect anything. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  3. That experience isn't typical. I would download the phone software (ruu) from HTC and flash it again. That should clear it up.
  4. You can always ask. The worst thing that can happen is they say no.
  5. The biggest difference is the 2.5 contains an bc10 beacon that will tell your phone to move to the PCS band. That allows your phone to connect with it. They also seem to be more stable then the 2.0. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah, downtown Crystal Lake is a perfect storm. There really aren't any nearby towers and old brick buildings with possibly metal lathed plaster everywhere. My favorite restaurant Dukes is the same way. What signal did you get roaming? Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
  7. Sprint Customer Service told me my problem was a tower outage so I was trying to fix it! Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. Once the beta goes live to everyone well written site note export files will be another currency around here. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. I haven't seen any signs of a memory leak since I updated last night. It still is a bit early to know for sure though. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. It could be me but I couldn't open any of the files.
  11. I actually did notice an improvement about 4 or so. No troubles since.
  12. Google said it would be released on the 3rd, but that doesn't necessarily mean all devices. The Nexus 9 has launched with L so I guess that means the rollout has started. Of course that doesn't help us! ????
  13. Is this a nationwide change then?
  14. Did that just suddenly happen for you or has it always been set up that way for you guys? That just changed for me (us?) in the last couple days.
  15. Anyone else notice all the base station locations broadcast from the cell site are offset now?
  16. I think the bigger issue is after all data activity has stopped the connection stays open longer than any other phone I owned. If the connection is active no scanning takes place. It's hard to see it without Signalcheck, but if you look at it the data stream stays active for a long time after the data stopped flowing.
  17. I have been on the phone a fair amount today and no dropped calls here in the Palatine area.
  18. Congrats! What perfect weather for it also.
  19. Maybe they got either the clear site or Sprint site running band 41 over the last few days?
  20. Sounds to me like a company looking for some press for venture capital.
  21. I just made a minor donation. Money is a bit tight now. Hopefully it helps.
  22. The middle rack looks like sprint with the original 800/1900 antenna and RRUs as well as one 8t8r I think. It also looks like clear is/was on the top. I can't remember seeing a high capacity site in Chicago with the multiple RRUs per band. Do you know of any? The sites I have run across with two LTE carriers and three Evdo still looked like they had one rru per band per sector.
  23. It rolled? I thought it just went down. If it did roll then your likely right unless once the upgrade started it couldn't be stopped as it propagated through the network. I can say that at my job if I purposefully caused a outage during working hours I would be fired on the spot. The only thing I can tell you for sure is I didn't cause the outage. Lol
  24. If there was an upgrade planned I'm sure the accompanying outage wasn't. 1x data seemed to work for me during the outage. Sprint dc continued to work during the outage which was odd.
  25. I hope the sky clears out enough for the show!
