  1. Is that going to be Sprint CCA coverage? It seems like their network will be limited to working with T-Mobile, and AT&T when they fully embrace band 12.
  2. When I send SMS in hangouts via Sprint, the thread in hangouts will still show two messages. One via Sprint and another via Google Voice, but the recipient doesn't get two messages. I do have it set to smart reply and it will automatically switch back to sending via Google Voice after the first Sprint SMS is sent. I was hoping this new update would fix that.
  3. It doesn't bother me that much. I've been using Google Wallet since it was available with the EVO LTE. If Apple Pay will make more merchants upgrade to contactless payment systems, let the media continue to rave about it. It would be disappointing if they managed to have an Apple Pay only system and not support other NFC payment systems though.
  4. 65535 isn't a valid channel. Its probably just network load or some other thing causing the reduction in speed. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  5. Check your wake locks. When you click on the graph in battery stats look at awake and screen on. Screen on and awake should roughly match. If awake is a solid blue line, if you are rooted you can use something like wake lock detector to see what's doing it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  6. She ran the update and it got rid of that smith expired bug, but also removed the built in flash light app.
  7. I highly doubt tablets and phones would use the same amount of data if both given unlimited plans. Tablets would be more likely to be used for streaming video which is where the bulk of data use ends up for most people. Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk
  8. That's better screen on time than I get with my tablet and almost more than double what I routinely get on my nexus 5. That is a huge improvement. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. When I went into the store, they weren't able to replace it because they don't have any in stock and don't normally carry it due to being a preferred retailer. When I got home I called customer care again and they told me again to go to the store. After speaking with the guy for almost 20 minutes he finally understood the repair store wasn't going to be able to help me out and agrees to set up the advanced exchange. A few minutes later he calls me back and mentions the $75 fee but then says because I don't have TEP I have to go through the manufacturer for warranty service. I thought that's why there was a $75 fee, to have the device replaced through Sprint rather than go through the manufacturer. Looks like I'll be sending it to ZTE for repair instead.
  10. My projector started to have issues with projecting the colors below where they should be. The best way to describe it would be white icons such as play store looked like running paint below where the "screen" would be projected. I called technical support about the color and flickering issue when plugged in as well as miracast not working properly and they are replacing the device for me. I don't have insurance on it and I've had it for about a month and a half so I'm a little surprised they are replacing it and not making me go through ZTE. The guy I spoke to didn't mention any cost to have it replaced, but I haven't dropped it off at the store yet so not sure if they will surprise me with some fee. It's still great customer service though, Sprint is doing a lot more than I had expected with not having insurance on it.
  11. When my Nexus 5 is in LTE only mode, sms will not send or receive. But when not in LTE only mode and connected to LTE, sms will send and receive over LTE without dropping back to 1X. I wonder what is different about AT&T's eCSFB enabled LTE network that allows sms while in LTE only mode.
  12. You could always look into something like a surface pro 3. It would cost more but seems like it would fit your needs. Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk
  13. Yes, as long as your phone supports miracast. I haven't been able to get it to work for a while though on either of my phones. The devices will pair, but the screen on the livepro will be blank and only audio will play. Something to keep in mind if you want to run this off of a back up battery. It needs 12V DC input and the plug is 5.5mm by 2.5mm center positive with at least 2A minimum.
  14. It sounds pretty bad what you've had to deal with. I've personally had great customer service experiences any time I've had a problem. In fact, I would rate Sprint's customer service far better than any other service provider (for any service) I have used. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. I continued to receive MMS after the initial merge, but through Sprint and not Google Voice (in hangouts). I thought this would allow me to receive MMS via Google voice in hangouts on any device I was signed in to (tablet, computer, work phone etc) as well as send/receive MMS via Google voice in hangouts on a data only connection. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. Aside from helping to manage WiFi connections when available, doesn't the Sprint connections optimizer help with getting devices back on LTE when dropped to 3g in device known 4g areas? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. Is this going to be implemented in a new update? Or does it not work with Sprint full integration? MMS still go to my Sprint phone as normal, but not through Google Voice. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Does HTC have the RUU available for this phone? I'm wondering if that might help it, I keep seeing references to having the OS software reloaded. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. This happens to my sisters HTC one. I've been trying to get her to perform a factory reset to see if it fixes it. Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk
  20. IPhone 5 (6?) variants don't use eCSFB or have svlte capability, it can be done. Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk
  21. I haven't had it happen to me in over a week now. Or at least the people I text haven't complained about receiving 30 replies.
  22. Check if anything is causing wake/screen locks. That's faster than I have ever seen the battery discharge aside from streaming video non stop.
  23. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of new adds. When I went into a repair store tonight to have my livepro looked at, the store was packed at almost 8pm. Several customers were switching from Verizon and the contract buyout with the huge data bucket seemed to be the driving force. With the 60GB plans and more, unlimited data isn't even necessary for even a family of heavy users. Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk
  24. I'm trying to chat with Sprint tech support and they have no idea what I'm talking about. First they told me to remove the battery and let it sit unplugged for two minutes, and after I mentioned the battery is not removable they said to factory reset it. Am I wrong in thinking that a 3A or higher power supply might fix the problem? If you look at the bottom of the projector while it's happening I can see the red light flicker through the kick stand hole. It also only happens to me while the battery is nearing full charge, when charging current naturally would drop off on anything else. I'm sitting here at 94% battery and the ac adapter is still charging the battery without the flicker. Twice now when it's reached around 97-98% it starts to flicker while plugged in. GSam still reports the battery being charged but it as soon as I unplug it, the flickering stops and it reports the current draw over 2.5A which far exceeds the output of the ac included ac adapter.
