  1. Both Sprint and T-Mobile sold the nexus 5 for more than Google had it available for on Google Play store. I wasn't going to expect the 6 to be any different.
  2. Band 25 LTE is live tonight in Fairmount and towards camillus. The progress Sprint has made in Syracuse and surrounding area in the last few months is amazing.
  3. Aside from the 300MB day pass and 500MB week pass, those plans are identical to the stand alone subsidized tablet plans. I was hoping they would have something more competitive.
  4. I hadn't heard back from Sprint about my ticket since I opened it. Out of boredom I tried activating the replacement LivePro last night and it worked. I was skeptical when they told me it would get added to the system, but they can and do make it happen. Kind of makes me wonder if they would be willing to do the same thing with T-Mobile purchased Nexus 5's. Miracast is still showing a blank screen while casting, but after reading about compatibility problems with other Miracast devices I'm surprised I ever got it to work at all. I've been looking for a hard case to pack the LivePro in but it seems no one is making any accessories for it. I may end up changing out the foam insert from a compact .380 pistol case I have laying around but would prefer not to if I can find something else that works.
  5. I had to go into a Sprint store a couple times the last month to deal with a defective device. Both times the store was packed and I ended up waiting almost an hour just to see some one because I didn't make an appointment. Everything I overheard contradicts your statement about the plans, almost everyone was switching over from another carrier (mostly Verizon it seemed) because of how much money they would be saving.
  6. The band selection in that menu is probably only for CDMA, which would make sense why you aren't able to connect to pcs and smr at the same time.
  7. You could try going to a Sprint service and repair store and ask them to re load the software on your phone. Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk
  8. Its been a while since I've used the back up utility in HTC sync but I doubt it backs that up. Glancing through HTCs website I couldn't find where they have the updates listed but it looks like it has been changed a lot since I last used a HTC phone. You may want to try contacting their customer service to download it, or grab it from XDA if you are comfortable with that. Sent from my SM-T217S using Tapatalk
  9. When I try to launch the band selection on my nexus it crashes so I can't see exactly what that was. I vaguely remember using that on my evo LTE to force the phone on secondary 800 but I do remember being able to change the setting back to stock with no issue. I would try the RUU if I were in your shoes, just keep in mind it will wipe everything including data on the phone.
  10. Without knowing exactly what you did I can't say for sure. But if its software related that's the best you can do as far as reverting back to stock. Its like flashing the factory image on a nexus device.
  11. Download the RUU for the phone and flash it.
  12. The $5 tablet plan hasn't been available for a while.
  13. BC10 is CDMA 1X800 in smr spectrum. It has nothing to do with direct connect. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  14. Its happened to me a few times. Re provisioning with *#*#72786#*#*, updating profile and then prl has fixed it every time. I'm not sure what causes it, but its really annoying. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. I would never use this. What happens when their cloud system gets breached? It's annoying to have credit/debit cards reissued, but would be terrible to need to close and open new bank accounts.
  16. I'm surprised AT&T even supports apple's new sim. What's the point if it gets locked down permanently after you use it on their network?
  17. Tap and pay works on the G2.
  18. That's certainly a possibility. I only mentioned the tablet because you said the error message referenced your device not being supported.
  19. Unless you previously had Verizon services installed and activated at your address, they won't ever let you do a self install. Also the same applies if you had service, cancel for a long period of time and then try to sign back up.
  20. I can still change the plan and add tethering on my Galaxy Tab 3. I wonder if it is an issue related to your specific tablet.
  21. I connected to 1x800 for the first time today since March/April today up near OCC. I'm not sure why it disappeared for so long but I'm glad to have it back online and available to use. If only LTE 800 would make an appearance now to complement the B41 that's been popping up all over the CNY area.
  22. Unless something has changed, you can have different single line plans (not sure about multiple family plan lines) on your account at the same time. That's essentially how Framily shows up anyway, if you have multiple lines but under the same Framily number.
  23. I got a replacement device from ZTE today, they received it on Tuesday. The turn around time was pretty fast, much faster than I had expected. The only problem is they managed to send me a new LivePro with a serial number that is not white listed for activation on Sprint. Miracast still doesn't work properly with my Nexus 5 or G2, I'm wondering if its a problem with LG phones. The projector part of the device seems to work without problems, no flickering or color problems running Netflix off of WiFi for about an hour. I called tech support and they ended up opening a ticket to get the serial number added to the system, which is something I thought couldn't be done. I was told it could take 5-7 days, so I'll see how it turns out. I was told I would be given a $20 bill credit for the hassle.
  24. What a difference a year has made. Last year when going to Crunch games at the war memorial, LTE was spotty at best and I had better luck getting data to work leaving my phone on 3G only mode. For the first four games this year LTE has been rock solid and averaging 10-20mbps. I can't wait to see how well it performs at the upcoming Frozen Dome Classic when the Crunch crush the Comets with a crowd that is supposed to set an AHL attendance record . If they can get B41 up and running around the dome in time I expect Sprint to easily outperform AT&T/Verizon/T-Mobile.
  25. I wonder how that will work with them having a LTE/UMTS network until Sprint has their VoLTE set up and working with roaming providers.
