  1. My Sprint contacts a bit higher up said they found nothing internally to validate these claims. Verizon and AT&T still have grandfathered unlimited customers. In the case of Verizon, grandfathered users I know watch for an unannounced subsidized phone upgrade period, typically over a weekend that lasts for just a few days. They occur every six months to a year. Both of the duopoly attempt to terrify grandfathered users into new plans.
  2. I have noticed that I have not been able to see subsidized phones on the Sprint store since Thanksgiving with my Everything Datashare 1500 with 300MB roaming per line. Of course without subsidized phones, this plan becomes significantly more expensive. I was hoping to get at least to CAx3 phones. I have watched the wording carefully used by Marcello Claure. While he promised to continue these plans, there was no mention of the phone subsidies. Of course we have heard about the end of these plans before so I am attempting verification from a credible source. These subsidized phone plans make upgrading a "no brainer" with full phone choice and you have a backup phone to cover you when your phone breaks (even with insurance). Without them I would upgrade less often/consider other carriers.
  3. Details here (must be a Sponsor.)
  4. Sprint is executing much more quickly on the marketing side. However they are in a hyper-competitive arena. The immediate litmus test is whether they can start stealing non-data hog customers from T-Mobile. CAx3 small cells/upgraded Clear sites are the key. Will the new legal counsel be able to reach an acceptable resolution in the judge-shopped WiMAX case? It is most important that they just more forward -- with or without these frequencies. Sprint is making much better use of its existing frequencies for LTE 1900 in many markets with refarming CDMA. A few markets may have 20x20 1900 LTE sites given spectrum purchases awaiting FCC approval. 15x15 may also appear along with more 10x10 and second carrier 5x5. Sprint now appears to be focused on bandwidth needed per site rather than band coverage, which I see as operating with more business acumen. Hopefully they are able to complete 1x800 and B26 LTE 800 issues -- even if they must use B26 LTE 800 3x3.
  5. Additional LTE carriers are quite important to those who benefit and do encourage member participation. Point taken that they not as unique. However just the process of looking for them may result in finding items like 3x3 b26 LTE or 15x15 or 20x20 b25 LTE, or even third carrier b41 and beyond. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  6. Agree that last ones should not be null. Strikes me that it may need reprovisioning or reactivation. Point that out to customer service, or someone knowledgeable on this may reply. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  7. Others in this thread will know exactly. Besides being licensed for the three above, they are also licensed for AWS (1710-1755 MHz and 2110-2155 MHz - band 10 I think) in at least part of their possible operating area. Licensed does not mean used, but is rather the first step (through purchase or lease approved with FCC). Subsets of the above bands are also possible: 2 for band 25, 5 for band 26, 38 for band 41.
  8. The network can always override your choices, but often does not. For everyday use with Sprint, I keep mine at b41 then b25 then b26 plus the others. If you are hunting, eliminate all bands except the one you want. Put any other bands nTelos uses above those three. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  9. Yup: websites, TV, radio, church. The alternative is subscriptions or [emoji33] taxes [emoji6] Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  10. Not on mine, but then I have have nine more days on billing cycle. Did you do the LG G4 recall or report any issues?

  17. Just gave $30, so it is down to $90 or less to be fully funded. edit: Are these donations tax deducible if you itemize? (I think so, but not certain)

  20. This is awesome!! However, it will allow you to burn through your roaming allowance ten times faster. Any word on if Sprint will adjust its plans or at least allow you to buy more roaming data?
  21. Your plan likely has 300MB limit per line for roaming versus 100MB with current plans, plus phone subsidies every two years per line.
  22. Ok, you should be good, assuming these connections were very recent. Edit: I have often had issues where hunting in an emerging LTE area caused problems later. A reboot was all that was required to fix it. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  23. I would reload profiles, prl, and reboot. Your phone could be having issues. Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  24. I would also try the signal detector app: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3153-cheesy-esmrlte-base-station-tracker/page-3&do=findComment&comment=452198
