  1. That sounds awesome! Id be happy with a 5 lap run on a Stingray Z51 with manual shift. That would probably be the most engaging of all considering its the only one that is probably stick.
  2. Was hanging out at The DL downtown by Delancey and Ludlow indoor speeds were pretty epic 60-70mb down...
  3. International wifi calling is official. The OTA for the gs4 is being pushed first. Free calls to US from anywhere in the world over wifi. This is awesome news! http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/traveling-overseas-with-sprint-has-never-been-easier-with-international-wi-fi-calling-to-the-us-us-virgin-islands-and-puerto-rico-at-no-additional-cost.htm
  4. In certain cases it switches to B26 for capacity, where B25 might be overloaded.
  5. Hows that Walmart out there, was considering heading to the one in white plains for a few things but its pretty limited.
  6. Was in the DMV on Fordham Rd and also Little Italy, got a ton of B41 as well around that area.
  7. FYI just as an update im in the area and averaged about a -105dBm on B41 speeds were between 18-25mb/s. UPDATE: I drove further east on Tremont and lost LTE for a few minutes. There is a small gap of 3G only sites that need upgrading on Grand Concourse and Webster. But B41 off of Webster ave fills in some of that gap, it definitely is wider on B25 only devices.
  8. Its finally happened!!!! Sprint overtook Tmobile on Netindex in Manhattan!! Next...Verizon!!
  9. There is B26 and B41 in that area. Triband is the only way...
  10. I seriously doubt any halo phones coming out from this point forward will be less than 1440p, so the content will catch up as time goes on. But I can tell you, even though youtube tends to be on the lower bitrate side, 1440p videos on there look astonishingly good. Also since the camera itself records at up to 4K you can take advantage of your own personal vids. One thing that does suffer on the G3 screen is black levels are not as pronounced and as balanced as they are on the One. But the one screen has one thing that I totally hated, the grid alignment was very apparent in direct light. But besides that, it is a GREAT screen.
  11. I think the HTC One is definitely one of the best phones out there, but the G3 has a better camera, and a better screen (especially for 1440p videos on youtube.) and slightly better RF. The HTC wins in the "from factory" smoothness, and build quality (even tho the G3 is the best plastic phone I've ever held) the LG front end is getting better but still miles slower than Sense UI, also the HTC speakers are second to none (surprisingly the G3 is very good, but only Mono) So either way you go, you really cant go wrong...
  12. Absolutely zero, when i went downstairs it just switched, hovered between -99 and 105dBm. Also before walking in it was on B41 so its nice to see west 4 with the tri-fecta in place. For comparisons, my buddy on ATT was also getting decent speeds with similar signal, between 3-5mb sec.
  13. Hanging at down the hatch bar downtown underground getting awesome B26 15mb down..
  14. Looks like they turned on a bunch more B26 in and around the bronx on the cross bronx toward GW bridge. Held it for about 3-4miles.

    LG G3

Definitely saw a nice jump in performance on ART, but some apps like Facebook would not work also chromecast mirroring isn't supported. Once they sort out the bugs, ART will definitely be great.
  16. If i95 didnt suck as much as it does it wouldnt be that bad of a ride.
  17. Checking out the new mall in bay plaza in the bronx first one of its kind in 40 years in nyc(awesome btw)and service in and around the shopping center is all B41 with great speeds. Indoors speeds are pretty good jumping between B25 n 26. It really is great to be on sprint right now in nyc.
  18. Take a look at the clear maps, they still show as inactive, but in fact they have been live for a while now. I get excellent speeds around MSG. Could have been your device just needed a reboot or airplane mode toggle to allow it to rescan. Also, optimizations are still underway in midtown, I just started connecting to B26 around that area as well, so that could be causing some potential issues.
  19. There is B41 in that area, I connect to it all the time...
  20. I get the opposite, I have pretty great service in Midtown, except very small pockets, in fact, if you look up Manhattan on netindex, sprint is about to pass Tmobile (within 500k/sec of Tmobile) sitting at an average of about 11mb/s.
  21. Has anyone caught a glimpse of 8t8r B41 antennas in our market? I have yet to see or hear anyone get a good shot of them in NYC. For more details on what to look for, take a look here.. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5183-how-to-spot-sprint-8t8r-td-lte-rrhs-alcatel-lucent/
  22. Clear site spacing is not perfect considering its propagation characteristics. But it is going to fulfill the grand majority of the population's needs in NYC. But of course, there will always be that small percentage that is not covered, and he just so happens to be in that minority. Looking at the Clear maps does indicate that its the ONLY area that lacks B41 towers near by. That's why we have such wildly different experiences, what I can tell you, Sprint is about to catch up and pass T mobile in overall speed on Netindex in Manhattan. Also as a side note, the GS5 does not have the best radio performance in comparison to other tri-band devices.
  23. But despite all of that, its still capable of very many things that iphones cannot...
