    LG G3

Has anybody mentioned the fact that the G3 is now fully bootloader unlocked? They already have a version of TWRP running on it, cant wait to get a stock android L rom going! http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/orig-development/bump-unlock-lg-g3-twrp-sprint-t2900588
  2. Spotted some more 8t8r in the Bronx, pics coming soon...
  3. The T mobile plan is only for landlines, while that is pretty good, most of my family members in latin america only have cell phones. They barely are even near landlines. At least the sprint deal covers both landlines and cellphones, the Tmobile deal is 15 for unlimited to both..
  4. Did you get LTE before you got the iphone 6? It seems like your 1x signal is very low. -106 is hit or miss. Another thing about iphones, they tend to favor 1x on 1900 over 1x over 800 which would probably increase signal strengh 10-20% Hopefully its just your local site that has not been upgraded to 1x800, and if that is indeed the case, hopefully it happens sooner than later. I suggest donating a few bucks to get access to the current NV map, that will give you a better idea if your local site is upgraded or not.
  5. B25/B26 is LTE only, your looking for BC10 which is 1x800. Your probably having issues with a conflicting legacy site still lingering around that your phone connects to. Try going into your engineering screen while on a call to see what your connecting to, and what signal strength your getting on 1x Voice.
  6. Its not that simple, Sprint made an agreement with the government to decommission equipment issued by Huawei, which eventually will have non wimax 8t8r antennas on them. Also, not all Clear equipment is co-located with Sprint equipment, so Sprint will use the extra sites to increase coverage of Band 41. But the ones that are co-located will be taken down in favor of sprint's own 8t8r.
  7. The first 20k songs are free on Gmusic, I don't know after. I myself have about 9k tracks I've uploaded. But I do pay 10 bucks a month for unlimited music on they're service, which I love. Another interesting thing is, as Sprint's LTE service has gotten more reliable and ubiquitous, I find myself using the offline track less and less.
  8. Got you, you can still offline whole albums and playlist. But I could see how that would be limiting.
  9. You should consider using google music, just let it match your track's and just stream them, that has made having the music stored locally obsolete.
  10. Yeah expandable space is frowned upon by Google because of compatibility issues and also speed concerns, they are known to slow phones i/o down regardless whether used or not. Rumours are stating their will be 32gb and 64gb versions, so space should not be a concern.
  11. Clear towers in NYC were and still are Wimax sites. But sprint is also deploying B41 on all there own towers as well. Eventually, we will have a slight advantage over other markets in number of sites, because we will eventually have B41 on both ex-clear sites and current sprint sites.
  12. it seems destined to be one of the bigger phones out there, (not quite as big as iphone 6+) So if your not good with Phablet type of phone's it might not be your first choice, but i'd still wait to see how this whole thing plays out. Its only a matter of time. Here is some info to at least give you an idea. http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/09/29/this-is-the-motorola-nexus-6-a-5-9-qhd-display-3200mah-battery-dual-front-facing-speakers-and-more/
  13. check engineering screen. That SC shot is all kinds of contradictory.
  14. I'd wait for the nexus 6 to be released before making the jump. It will be a next gen device, faster proc, better battery higher res, bigger screen, might even have CA support and most definitely android L. Hopefully it actually makes it on sprint.
  15. In the city my B41 speeds have dropped from the 30-40mb to 10-20. But my B25 have become usable 2mb+
  16. Perfect analogy for our tristate friends that drive.

    LG G3

G3 RF performance is top notch and find it to be superior to last N5 radio with faster scan times and better overall performance. Also better than GS5, Moto X, G2 and HTC One M8 in my testing. It also doesn't hurt im in a mature market, and having constant access to all three bands helps.
  18. Actually, its probably more related to the fact that Verizon has a tendency of blocking any device that have the capability of operating on other networks, look at the Nexus 7 fiasco.
  19. When you mention park, do you mean park ave or central park west?
  20. Ive been blessed by the S4GRU Gods!!! Also helps to be obsessed with SCP persistent notification and constantly looking for antennas.
  21. Ill leave this here... http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/09/29/this-is-the-motorola-nexus-6-a-5-9-qhd-display-3200mah-battery-dual-front-facing-speakers-and-more/
