It holds LTE like a beast so far, drove from the Bronx to midtown and back, have no idea what the 3G logo looks like. Have yet to drop to 3G even in an elevator. B26 performance in particular seems a lot better than my G3.

One thing that I noticed right away, its set to Global by default in Network settings, and in turn takes forever to pick up a signal after rebooting. Switching to LTE mode sped up the process quite a bit.

It seems to be very close to my G3 (which is a good thing, since G3 has excellent radio performance) for comparison I find the G3 to be about 3-4dBm stronger than Nexus 5 on latest radio.

N6 has ambient display for all notifications its awesome!

Unlike iOS devices, screen calibration can be adjusted with a kernel, and battery life is good but not amazing, but will continue to improve over time. If simplicity is all that mattered, iOS would win everytime, fortunately lollipop is in another world compared to iOS.

Bad reviews? even the most apple loving iverge site loved the nexus 6.

What it should have is Wifi calling, and skip all that other crap..

Sprint just credited my account the amount I paid for the nexus on my bill and in turn made my bill -82 instead of 250.. Something is not quite right. Gonna call them in the morning to see what gives.

GCI on signal check pro, Sprint B25/26 start with 012 Clear B41 starts with 02 Sprint B41 starts with 013 NJ market on the west side of manhattan sometimes picks up Sprint B25/26 starts with 018 Clear B41 starts with 03 Sprint B41 starts with 019 Sprint sites PLMN are 310 120 I also try to visually verify whenever possible.

The display on the N6 is amoled, so they always tend to be less bright than other comparible screen techs. But if your into the best video playback experience, Amoled takes the black level cake. Also it allows other cool stuff like active display without draining battery (ask any moto X user its awesome) Another thing, as AJ mentioned rural CCA/RRPP support as well. The only real advantage I see in the note edge is the Carrier Aggregation support which is awesome for showing off your e-penis, but not much more. The curved display definitely fall into the gimmicky category, at least for now, and dont bother with it if your left handed. One last thing...Pure Android.

I was a bit surprised myself, when I finally asked her she admited that she has been online quite a bit more. But watching streaming TV during her lunch break was the culprit, which is totally fine since we do have her on an unlimited plan.
