  1. Looks clear to me. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  2. Have you reported it and opened a ticket? If so, what was the cause cited? Do you know if other users are having the same problem? You will get a lot farther dealing with Sprint than writing on our boards about your waning support for Sprint. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  3. It is possible that Sprint is not on the Verizon tower at that location, but is on a school DAS system or a Sprint In-Building Solution. If so, that would explain why it is not on our maps. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  4. There is no range for a core. Cores are set up and configured for markets based on customer counts. Cores can handle so much traffic. At some cores, they handle eHRPD and LTE traffic for several markets. And other busier markets, they may handle just one market or a portion of a market. A site is connected to a core through backhaul. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  5. I sometimes think that Randall Stephenson doesn't know what he is doing either. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  6. Remember that the 3G only sites are quick and easy to get 4G LTE running on. However, there has not been a lot of movement in NYC since the hurricane. So if things don't get moving again, then you may very well end up being correct. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  7. I think you're probably right. As long as AlcaLu doesn't slow down because of the holidays, then I think a launch some time in December is plausible. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  8. Sprint was very careful to not say that. They said they had 100 cities where deployment is under way. Sprint is trying to under promise and over deliver. But instead it is more like under promise and deliver. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  9. There aren't many. Not more than a handful. Our database is from October 2011 and came straight from Sprint. We started receiving new site updates in Spring 2012. We are only missing a dozen or so sites added in the time in between. And we add them when we find them. The sites shown at network.sprint.com is only a fraction. Are you trying to make a point? 10. I believe there was only one Ponce site in the last update. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  11. eHRPD availability means nothing. So don't sweat that at all. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  12. I got some juicy Shentel info today. I hope go be able to share tomorrow. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  13. The LTE core for every market has to be somewhere. There are two cores serving the markets in Southern California. I'm trying to recall from memory, one is in Rialto and I think the other one is in Burbank. I am certain about the Rialto location, though. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2

  15. Yes, but it's related to an Ericsson equipment problem. So it's Ericsson's problem that they will have to come back. Most of the 3G work is being done though at the same time as the LTE. So the return trip doesn't involve a lot of work. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  16. stinky eye Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  17. It is likely a temporary WiMax outage. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  18. They are working on the Rialto LTE core. This is probably the reason for the slow LTE issues in LA at the moment. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  19. That pretty much is the absolute maximum download speed on Sprint LTE with their current devices. You must have been LOS to the site. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  20. Definitely. As nearby sites go live, they will adjust downtilt down to reduce interference from new adjacent sites and increase signal strength within that cell. It should be getting better and better every week until the whole market is complete. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  21. gas attack Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  22. It means no LTE signal. Some devices keep logging data to Sensorly even when it has no LTE signal at all. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  23. In Network Vision documents, only approximately 10%-25% of corporate stores will get LTE repeaters. It seems highly variable by market. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  24. I was at the hospital when I got your donation, but I was able to upgrade you from my phone. Thanks for supporting S4GRU. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  25. OK. I got my new Nexus 4 today. I kind of find it hard to hold and type on, it's kind of slick. Even slicker than the GS3 and Note 2. I activated it on Tmo 4G monthly prepaid. I am not impressed with their network here in Espanola, NM. Only one of the five sites locally have HSPA/HSPA+. All the rest run EDGE only. Here are my HSPA and HSPA+ speed screen shots tonight. I hope it's better in Santa Fe or ABQ. Interestingly, the download speeds were better on HSPA than HSPA+. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
