  1. A little bit. Between nothing and up to 20%. It will vary tower by tower depending on how each is deployed. The biggest gains will be when Sprint adds 800MHz service. Unfortunate, the iPhone 4/4S does not support Sprint 800MHz service. The iPhone 5 supports voice on 800. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  2. Backhaul readiness is the cause of the sites still waiting for LTE in most cases. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk

  4. Isn't that the Fajardo-Culebra ferry? Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  5. folded map Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  6. I am behind on IE area updates. Will get them posted today or tomorrow. Additionally, sometimes sites are live for testing before acceptance. We post sites after acceptance. We rarely hear of inspections prior to acceptance. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  7. And as a Christian, I'm grateful to share my birthday with Easter. My favorite holiday of the year. Although, I prefer fried chicken to ham. I always thought it ironic that we Christians celebrate Easter with ham. Jesus was Hebrew and did not partake in swine. It would be much more appropriate to have lamb. Although, since Jesus is the lamb, that would be like eating the Savior. Hmmm... Maybe we should just fast for Easter? LOL Thanks for the birthday wishes. You guys are great! It's the sense of community that makes it all worthwhile! I have gained so many friends through S4GRU. I have no idea where all if this goes in the future. But for now I will enjoy the ride. 8. Central Jersey is not like most markets. Not much density, based on the suburban/exurban and rural nature of the area. It will take a higher percentage to launch this market. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  9. I'm not sure where Plaza las Americas is. Although my knowledge of Puerto Rico geography is much greater than most mainlanders, it is still limited compared to the natives. However, the site maps have been updated with the latest data, so it reflects what it is. I also corrected a few errors I discovered in PR that were made on the maps. Everything is accurate now. 10. Once work begins in the Richmond market, the Running List will be updated every week or two with progress statistics for this market. If you become a S4GRU Sponsor, you can also have access to maps that show the site locations that have passed inspection. These get updated several times per week. Sponsors get lots of additional content. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  11. The legacy network is still getting maintenance upgrades in the Richmond market. These are shown at network.sprint.com. These include voice capacity (additional 1x voice carrier channels), data capacity (additional 3G EVDO carrier channels), data speed (additional T1 backhaul lines) upgrades. These will still be implemented on legacy sites until NV is complete. And they will even continue on NV sites when needed. I am not aware of any activity in the Richmond area yet where they would be testing LTE signals. I believe AlcaLu is just starting to mobilize. Most likely, the first accepted sites in Richmond will be 3G. And currently no sites have been accepted in the Richmond market. But in a strange RF occurrence, he could be getting a signal from one of the closest Norfolk site. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  12. I see speed test servers come and go all the time. I don't put much credence in their appearances/disappearances. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  13. Official dates are just machinations of Sprint marketing. Crews on the ground will just keep deploying. One day, Sprint marketing people will decide enough coverage has been achieved to announce the market. And work will still continue. Official announcements have no impact on the deployment, there is the same amount of coverage before the announcement as the day after. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  14. We don't know a date. It should be before mid summer at the latest to start, though. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  15. Not only is it just this site, it's only certain devices on this site. I have problems with my Nexus 7, GS3 and Note 2, but not with my LG Optimus G or Nexus 4. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  16. I never knew hell was known for its speed. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  17. Alcatel Lucent is the vendor for this market. Based on AL deployment in other markets, I would guess that LTE will start going live in 6-8 weeks. First it will be one or two sites. Then each week another 2-5 sites will go live. It will probably take 3-6 months to have complete coverage over the whole metro. All site conversions probably will not be complete for 9-12 months. 18. Just to clarify, there is nothing wrong with the OP, or this thread. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  19. I believe Ian will work on this in the next day or two. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  23. It appears you have two S4GRU accounts. You did not provide your preferred S4GRU screen name when you donated, so I upgraded the one that has the same email address as your PayPal account. If you prefer I upgrade this one, then send me a PM requesting that and I'll change it. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
